Sorry, just trying to catch up on today's posts. A few mentions of Corrie running / jogging - at what point did that happen and how do we know?
I think people mean the bit where he appears at the start of the 2nd bit of cctv footage. I'm not convinced he was jogging it seems to be a brisk walk to me and his hands were in his pockets which isn't an ideal position for jogging.

Look at the last CCTV right at the beginning he comes into view and his head is bobbing he's clearly jogging down the alley.

His head "bobbing", isn't really "jogging".
He may have been in "a slight hurry" as in "more than walking pace".
.....like "needing a pee" !

.... or "wanting to warm up a bit", given it was lows of about 10 degrees at the time. Not freezing, but certainly cool enough when you don't have a jacket on.

I received a message on my messenger from someone who has made no postings on the Facebook page. Trolling, or just odd- I wrote one comment about his use of a phone whilst eating in footage 1.
I ha e just read your comment on the Find Corrie Page. I have mentioned to his poor mum that he appears to be looking around for someone/something in the second CCTV. Assuming Corrie a call, it would appear on his phone records. At first, I believe he could ha e been startled by someone/some and I sincerely hope that is the case because it would mean he intended to go unnoticed. Assuming that this is the case, he could have asked a friend to lend him money so not to arouse suspicion when it comes to action his disappearance.

If he wanted to get a taxi he would get the kebab and then go back the way he came towards the rank. When his friends came out of flex eventually, they would go to the taxi rank. Why would corrie hang around on the wrong side of town. Theres even a kebab place right near flex. It doesnt look like he was planning a taxi at any stage.

That kebab shop, Charlie's got bulldozed a few months back. Basically it's St Andrews St now for a kebab or Station Hill.

...but after he went for his "alleged" pee, where was he heading ?

I have been thinking through the "fake illegal taxi" scenario.
The main issue is, how does a driver of a "fake taxi" tackle a "slightly merry combat soldier" ?
It's a big ask.

But, there area is has a "through flow" of people heading to the taxi rank.
The location maybe relevant.

I am thinking that Corrie's "going missing" was something of a "pre planned" event, rather than "him being actually targeted".

We had a guy who was AWOL for over a year, his FB was very public and he was very open about his whereabouts sat on his mum's sofa. He was only arrested because he went to a funeral of another soldier and the RMP happened to be there. We have another guy AWOL who is more than open about his whereabouts, he has a job, and is constantly updating exactly where he is, he's been AWOL since April. It's not like it used to be. Maybe the RAF run a tighter ship, so to speak. That said, I don't think Corrie being AWOL is even a consideration.

A somewhat different situation though. Those guys may be or have been AWOL but they weren't missing. If you're sat on your mum's sofa you're being housed, fed and watered at least. Clearly that's not the case with Corrie. It seems inconceiveable that he could be hiding out with any members of his family, even 4th cousins twice removed, given what his parents are going through.

I've had the same too ... wonder if it's the same person?

Preplanned by him, or so someone else? Ha wasnt a combat soldier, he was a medic, however he was reasonably tall and looking at him holding his puppy - very muscular. If he has gone AWOL, it is the most unnecessarily complex plan ever.

Wheatley- Bradford? What is his point?

I can't believe people are still talking about the possibility that he went away of his own accord. That clearly did not happen.

He is RAF Regiment. He is "Combat".

You do get assigned "secondary roles". Medic. Radio op. Etc.
In "the field" you can't really call "an ambulance" or "a radio repair man". You're it, so to speak.

.... I know.

And for "Gawd Sake".....

.... it is massively unbelievable if he

1. Slept in the bin
2. Went AWOL

Also some are asking if/will the CCTV footage be enhanced. What we as the public have seen is a 480P low bit-rate Vimeo upload and of course the original will be at least 720P and in high bit-rate.

Though I do find it odd the Police are asking about that silver car because the Greenwoods camera would surely have a very clear image of the car if not the number plate. Maybe the Police want the owner to come forward voluntarily?

He would know how to take care of himself in a fight and not by the Queensbury rules. So would that mean a lone assailant is less likely. After all the Marham guy fought of two of them.

You really shouldn't all assume you know medics - they are a rare breed (spent my life with one) . I don't think he went AWOL, and I think he could look after himself better than most. I also believe he had enough funds to get home.

Bugger, was just browsing the FB page and someone had posted a map of all the CCTV cameras in BSE. From what I could see if Corrie had gone up Short Brackland he wouldn't have been covered by any cameras. Anyway, I forgot to screenshot it and can't find it now, did anyone copy it?

Also, who was it here who said they eaten at Pizza Mama Mia and knows the owner, has it been verified if he is the same Abdul T as the Worcester guy?

The marham guy claims he fought off two of them. There isn't any evidence it actually happened.
