Ok, sorry to sound moody but can we please now forget the theory of him in the bin, on the bin etc it's not the case as has not only been said over & over again by the family, it was forensically tested for Corrie with nothing found of him! Phone perhaps...Corrie NO.

I still go back to my first theory which is a car followed the same route....

Yes I think I agree! Wish they would clarify the sighting near the sugar factory or even whether he could have got all the way up there without being caught on camera.

Tend to agree also.

  • #1,023
Can agree with that....

...or the phone was in that bin OR another bin.

Either way, I doubt Corrie was in any bin.

I would think it's relatievly easy to be certain one way or the other about a body in the landfill. It's my understanding that records are kept of where rubbish is put within the landfill each day, does anyone kmow for sure if that's the case?

absolutely we need to know as it was days later the bin seized and forensically checked but maybe it was washed a number if times, maybe the weight was estimated, maybe the machine nit calibrated. I guess onky the Police will have that info and it will not be relased to the public except via local chit chat...

Are you local By The River? I'm not nearby myself... Yes that's true could be so drunk he fell asleep again... Horrible to think of what might have happened if he was in a bin but they do seem to have checked out the lorry quite thoroughly

Yes 45 mins away, people are talking in the pubs, at work etc, chinese whispers and all that.

but it would be on cctv also?

Would have imagined so but no-one knows what the CCTV coverage is like behind the shops, if any atall, in working order anyway!

The family are pretty sure he didn't leave on foot....only leaves another scenario! He wasn't in the bin so....

TBH I am at a loss. One thing we should all know is that he wasn't in the bin. Lol **please READ**

So.... he's in a boot of a car or in a van or in a people carry thing (or in the bin lorry).

That bin weight, suggests "no body".
And I guess the other collected bins that were collect that night, suggest the same (at least I hope so...or the police have "failed" !).

Bin weights are important for two reasons. Overloading (a lesser but important thing). And charging.
Hopefully no one has "tinkered" with the computer.

I would like to know....from the police and NOT facebook.... how long was the phone "stationary" in Bury ?

I appreciate "triangulation" is difficult (the results are "within a kilometre or two, square"), but "mast to mast" (you actually only need "two", so triangulation is a bit of an odd term) moves are can give a "within a time-frame, it was here" answer.

I had discounted the bin weeks ago until now and its the only correlation with Corrie and/or his phone that has been found. There is nothing else. where is his wallet, car keys, house keys, ID? Where is cctv of a vehicle following the lorry? There were people around in the morning but not a sight, nor sound...

Bin lorry was a "one man crew" interestingly.
So (if suspected), he is going nowhere.
Therefore "he" would have to "dump the body" and pray.
I can't see that as a "solution" to this.

So.... it leaves "a car" or "other type vehicle other than a bloody bin lorry"!).

One question.... why was Corrie "in the doorway" ?
I guess "waiting".
He's not "asleep". That is madness. He maybe "dozing", but sleeping !

I guess he's waiting for his mates.

No amount of drink makes a man sleep in a industrial bin.

He does a wee. Camera rotates then he goes towards canon brewery. Why didnt he scoot over to the taxi rank. Would be cars there even at 3.30. Even if you dont have the money, you get to base and then find the tenner when youre there.

Bin lorry.....seized & forensically tested....nothing!

Maybe, maybe not but as has been stated I struggle to believe he could have evaded all cameras on foot!

We are only told what the police want to share! For all we know there was a suspicious vehicle and they are investigating it right now!!!! They're not going to tell the public that!

That road doesn't look like it should only have one bin lorry going down it in a half-hour period at any time of day. We've been lead to believe Corrie couldn't get out of that loading bay without being caught on CCTV, but if he's not in there, he got out. We don't know where he could have met up with a car, but that silver car on the CCTV still can't have been the only vehicle in BSE around that time of night, especially not if Corrie managed to get several streets away to an area that doesn't have CCTV covering someone getting into a car along the side of a road, or that CCTV hasn't been handed into police.

The local info seems to be that something like a speed camera might trigger down the BSE to Barton Mills road, and if no speeding then no trigger? We've been told there was an image of the bin lorry after it triggered a camera, but I think that info might be more to rule out the possibility of Corrie being visible on that lorry in that image, and it might not imply there was no other traffic in that area at that time.

Or waiting for his lift right out there undetected from behind Greggs.....

Something strange about that last CCTV like he looks about knowing the CCTV is watching!

Ok, I'll stop now. Something is so off with this it seems unreal!

Sure, I'll eat my words when I'm totally wrong and this was a tragic accident! Something just doesn't sit well with me atall!

Never been to Bury. Where is the nearest taxi rank ? As in "used taxi rank at that time of night" ?

the Death t shirt guy said they shared pizza and a hug in Mamma Mia he posted it on that fb page and that they hadnt argued, he was also playing rock, scissor, stones in there. Sounds like he had sobered up but then was unsteady on his feet on cctv after that. His Mum said he didnt MEAN to fall asleep in the doorway, maybe he didnt mean to fall asleep again later so you cant discount he didnt due to alcohol? Maybe he didnt NEED another sleep but look up alcohol poisoning, he hasnt control over his brain or body to quite an extent. Say he has no money, no phone, feels ill, disorientated... What does he do at 3.30am? What would you do in that situation?

Can't see that, to be honest.
I doubt he'd "time" his disappearance against cctv.
for me, he's looking "where to pee" and not be seen.
I have a friend that tells me they have done that (errrr I plead the fifth) and I can imagine they have done that same couple of "really bad to and fro glances" before heading off to answer Mother Nature.
That's what they told me !!!!

Without offending the "facebook crowd" that may read this....
....Corrie looks like he wants a p*ss. And he spots a sight he likes (and may have used before). He has a p*ss.
