The Focus12 system runs on confidentiality so maybe they were potential visiting patients looking at the accommodation before deciding to sign onto Focus12's books? Could have told N that they weren't there to secure their anonymity perhaps? Not so far fetched.
Absolutely same thought.

In previous threads we discussed that this facility isn't for commercial uses and wouldn't be open in the early hours.
Phone if it went with Biffa was probably incinerated then miles and miles away someplace away from BSE altogether.

There are questions flying about as to whether Corrie was robbed in the doorway of Hughes Electrical. I just don't see it myself. If he sent a picture message via social media and text message at 0308 then he was clearly compus mentus enough to punch his way out of a robbery thereafter. Also, leading up to 0308 it would appear he had his belongings on him surely. I wouldn't be sending an image to my mate if I'd have been robbed. I'd be sending a message saying 'I've just been robbed ffs!'.
It would take literally moments to walk from Hughes to the 'Horseshoe' area so add a few minutes for the picture image transactions and a few minutes to get up, tuck yourself in, clear your litter away, walk over the road, check your watch, realise you might be late, jog to the collection point, check the time (0324) and have time for a pee before your pick up. We could probably say he left Hughes doorway around 0322?
Seems simple to me. Defo not complicated.

A) if you'd been robbed of your phone you wouldn't be sending anything.
B) phone last used 03.08.
C) Horseshoe just yards from Hughes
D) Dozed off after 0308 phone on lap and woke at 0324 (quarter of an hour) no phone jumped up to look who was about and could have nicked phone set off sharpish to bins, to look for someone to punch......

If you watch the CCTV video again you can clearly see a bulge in his back pocket which I assume is his wallet or phone or both, I'd lean more towards it being his wallet from how fat it is.
.................

Yes I've looked at those cargo pants pockets for a while
to see how it linked to
- going for a pee ( earlier conversations about putting phone on a bin)
-dropping the phone/having it stolen whilst sleeping
-hands in pockets last sighting
still not been able to come down to any conclusions though.
( expect they are buttoned and one on the other side)

I dont agree with the hook up either. When did he arrange this? He was drinking, eating or sleeping till 3.08 then sent a pic then went back to sleep. 03.08 is last time phone is used (see website faqs) so when did he arrange this tinder/grndr thing especially as his gps was disabled? Its not feasible so was either arranged hours before when he was sober or would have been a chance encounter or a long standing arrangement with a friend IMHO.

I've moved off hook-up too, ever since we got more info on the nightclub. Just as easy for him to have met someone in there ( staff /customer etc) earlier who has parked up in HShoe.
Until we get clarity on these shops Nicola ( "furniture lady" from Mill House) talks about in the link and the cars - feel it's hard to move forward.

All the properties in that row, Boots Opticians, Celebrity Nails, the office and ourselves are owned by the same landlords but obviously have different tenants. I can only speak for us at Furniture Market but there will be no need for the police to get a warrant, and never will be, as we have never refused permission for a search to take place and have actively welcomed 2 searches of the property so far. I hope that this goes some way to answering some of your questions, particularly those of Corrie’s family.

Also , when Nicola asks for full search as she does at the link i posted prev page.......
"I have been asking from the very beginning. But I cannot with the facts I am being given by the police find a justifiable reasonable logical reason how this can be refused on the grounds of there is no intelligence or evidence so they won’t search
.....

am guessing that extra search would still be very expensive

Just been thinking about the potential of a separation between the phone and Corrie. I'm happy (sleuthed) that he evaded the CCTV cameras in a vehicle....but why would he be separated from his phone...accidental....deliberate??

DELIBERATE
If Corrie was assaulted by a male driver, then it stands to reason in my mind that he would be robbed of his possessions. This either happened in the 'Horseshoe' or in the BM/M mast footprint. The phone's route and timings have been tracked, so at least we now know that.
The first reason is to make good the assault from a theft point of view. The second, to remove all traces of Corrie's identification. It would afford the perp an opportunity of 'time and distance' from the crime (if this is what happened).

ACCIDENTAL
If Corrie had been dropped off by his contact somewhere that morning and things had gone well for him prior to his missing status, then he would still have his phone, wallet and car keys presumably?

Does anyone know why the Police have not released the CCTV footage of when Corrie was in the shop doorway (assuming there is footage of him there)?

  • #208
And yet there hasn't been much effort to ask the public to look out for his wallet and keys. We know everything about the phone but not the slighest detail about the other things.
We unfortunately don't know everything about the phone otherwise we would know where C is.

I will go back and look at both vids to see if we can compare bulges. This is where we need those expert analysis thingies that can technically measure, compare etc .

I just assume it's for practical reasons. They release material which moves the invest forward.
Nothing much is captured on it. Low qual image.
They've released the clearest footage/images of him for ident purposes.

TBH Shiresleuth, i was looking at the motion. Looks poss like a pocket flap , if you play the CCtv and watch him walk. ( Then look at the still and compare, see what u think...........not that it gets any of us anywhere really )

Sorry, should have been clearer, I meant that we know everything about the description of the phone down to the fact that the cover was worn/frayed which would give a fair chance of someone recognsing it if it turned up. Why don't we know even the basic details of the wallet - is it leather/what colour is it/what brand is it. IMO this is vital info to know in case empty wallets are found I'd be interested to know why this hasn't been released, why the focus on the phone when the keys and wallet could be just as useful in pointing to where he might be or have been?

We know that the keys are still missing from the flurry of activity over the found keys posted on a facebook page. I haven't seen anything to suggest any clues about the whereabouts of the wallet

Apparently it was too 'distressing'. If the 0324 CCTV footage has been released it must have been lees 'distressing' than the Hughes doorway footage presumably? What warrants less distressing I'm not sure yet.

In the Q & A Nicola said the police had told her she could have a copy of the footage but because of resource issues they hadn't provided it to her - a weak reason IMO

No problem, snip away! I agree with you, my partner is a bouncer, and I lived above the club he worked at (it's how we met, aww :) ), and so I would stand on the doors with him at the weekend to keep him company, or help out if I could (ambulance calling, calming people down, giving coffee, getting food for people, etc), and he never ever kicked someone out for being too drunk if they weren't causing a problem, so C must have done something that we're not being told about, or, and this is the only reason my partner says he would through out someone who hadn't done anything wrong, he was being protected from something. Maybe the doormen had seen something was going to unfold and so they moved him away for his own good. It could be that the person he was being moved away from, later caught up with him in the horseshoe :( hmmmm

xx
i can almost visualise a scenario. corrie bouncing around making girls laugh on dancefloor, acting the clown. in background big boyfriend observing wondering who the dckdh is that is floating round his girl. simmers a bit and is maybe a bit hostile. maybe even approaches corrie who will apologise and be okay, but tough guy is not having it and broodingg. manager realises corrie is making a pest of himself a bit too much this night and asks the bouncer to get him out. ive seen this many times

Hughes shop door way is like an alcove. The shop front is brick front parallel to the street so a CCTV camera on the same wall wouldn't be able to see into the alcove if anything untoward was happening.
Greenwoods camera is the only camera I can see of that would allow proper visibility of goings on (granted limited alcove intrusion) in the doorway.

I think to be strictly correct some posters suggested it might be distressing, afaik there is no suggestion from the family that this is the case but I;d really like it to be cleared up once and for all. A link would be really helpful if anyone has one
