That was said previously, but all this about C's friends phoning people isn't the way things should happen.

I've twice had airmen not show up for shift start times and as head of section I would ask work colleagues for contact numbers if next of kin had been exhausted, but I'd be on the phone initially.

Neither were reported awol. Both times they'd been involved in serious RTAs driving into work.

Could it have just been mates in the block, thinking about the dog and wanted to do a quick phone around to see where he was?

Relationships that are not so serious can be sexually exclusive. In fact I would imagine most fit that mould tb

I've just re read that article and it's been updated, it did say over the weekend corries brother started to get messages.

I really dislike it when that happens.

My boys are often in the situation that a girl will have far more feelings invested, than they will if that makes sense.

Didn't sound exclusive, going by what she said in the interview:

"We started off seeing each other ... and it was quite casual, we were both seeing other people at the time and then we sort-of led on to have conversations whereby we thought it was getting serious ... and what we were going to do and what plans we had. So, yeah, we were sort-of getting on our way to being 'just us' and happy and seeing what we wanted out of each other and where it was going."

He could also have other kids aswel that we don't yet know about, nothing would surprise me now!

'Seeing other people' doesn't have to mean sex. Also to me that sounds like they were in a casual dating situation and recently moved towards an exclusive proper kind of relationship.

I think people speculating on her having more than one possible father of the baby is a great example as to why the pregnancy has been kept away from public knowledge for as long as possible.

But phoning his GF in America is a bit extreme for that! And if they are used to Corrie disappearing for a weekend why worry then? Unless they had a reason to be concerned or heard the management talking and thought they'd do their bit. Either are possible IME.

IMO most people if they can't find a friend aren't going to straight away assume they've gone missing and instantly get the employer involved. It makes sense to phone round friends first, hopefully find out where he is and try and make sure he doesn't get into trouble if he's on a major binge or got lucky.

IMO they would put off making it official as long as possible

Relationships can be exclusive on one side but not the other, the exclusive party would be sure

They might not have known she was in America, they might have messaged her on facebook/social media and she rang them back. Unless she's independently friendly with some of the other RAF personnel would they have her phone number I wonder

Yes but they are 21 & 23 having fun I imagine, getting serious but no pressure to settle down at that age, she doesn't seem to doubt for a moment who the father is and I am sure Nicola has covered this off with her. A says herself she had a difficult decision to make by herself, she hasn't had the benefit of being able to find out what Corrie had wanted and if he hadn't have gone missing they may have taken a different course of action or not. We know he is the life and soul and she says that he was the nicest man she's ever met - probably too nice to disappear and leave his girlfriend pregnant I suspect too or his parents alone worrying over Christmas. I'm just hoping that just one day after A has revealed her pregnancy that this body in Norfolk doesn't turn out to be Corrie!

Interesting that they aren't able to identify what type of phone it is, looking at google images the Nokia phones seem to have obvious Nokia branding. My gut feeling is that this isn't Corrie's phone but I hope it is
