Update on the Find Corrie site says the Police will now be searching the buildings at the other side of the HS.

This plus the possible phone situation, things are moving quite quickly today.

The member of the public that found is unsure if it is a Nokia according to the Beeb.

I have a Lumia work phone. My old one didn't say Nokia on it (only on the box and I think when it was switched on) and my replacement one says Microsoft quite clearly on the front so it could be a Nokia if its not clearly branded. Can't check the old one as it met a watery end in a pub loo!

My theory: one way or another Corrie has ended up in the bin lorry. Then, during the trip back to the depot he has exited it.

While there are a number of cases of people surviving going into a bin lorry, I've been unable to find any where the person managed to exit the lorry by their own efforts and unseen.

Think about it - you're catapulted into a dark steel box, then compressed towards the front of the box. How would you find your way to the loading area if you don't even know which way you're facing and you have to fight your way through compacted or semi-compacted rubbish?

Charge it up and switch it on.

Within about 5 mins you would know if it was Corries phone or not.......as SWAT teams come charging through your door.

My theory: one way or another Corrie has ended up in the bin lorry. Then, during the trip back to the depot he has exited it. I reckon when they eventually find his body (in the forrest/river area) they will find his phone alongside him.

Kaiser, there have been multiple Threads on here that have gleaned information to this query. It's been established that Corrie COULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN, ON OR UNDER the bin lorry. The sides have nowhere to hang onto. The bin weight was accurately measured to within a few grabs tolerance. The cab has been forensically searched for evidence. The bin lorry driver has been interviewed. The CCTV evidence supports all this.
We have debated at greater length the PHONE movements. Are you possibly getting mixed up with the separation of the two?

you say this how it works as if we are all robots living identical lives. What works for some may not work for others. Some women have unpredictable cycles (medical conditions, lifestyle, just bad luck) and so being late is not an immediate presumption of pregnancy.

They had been seeing each other 5 months, they had talked about the future, she may have done a home test we don't know, and told C the result making him beyond happy so he celebrated. He is either awol or walked home and come to harm imo. The 03.21 image needs looking into further. I won't be surprised at anything else, that's for sure. The fact A and D knew C was missing before N did is also an indication to me that C knew and poss his mates knew too IMO. Parents are often the last to know in situations like this. I am speaking from experience regarding unplanned pregnancy and telling parents last or not at all.

Melmoth, why have we debated it for so long then? What if tomorrow TW says no forensics were done on the truck and the it wasn't on camera leaving, that's how they know vehicles can exit unseen? It's been said about the buildings hasn't it? People have said the cctv images have been analysed for gait etc but how can that be done when it is a still image only? There are still too many unanswered questions IMO.

There are still too many unanswered questions IMO.

The bin lorry would have been caught on the static sb camera. I have doubts how much of sb it can see but you'd mostly see a part of it pass

I have no idea. The bin lorry and whether the phone and/or Corrie was in it were done to death half a dozen or more threads ago. It's as though some posters need Corrie to have gone into it for reasons I do not pretend to understand.

If I was Suffolk Police I'd get round to the person's house sharpish and annouce one way or another at least if it's a Nokia phone, how hard can that be. I know they'll be busy with the search but they must have someone who could collect it. Rightly or wrongly they're gong to be crticised again for being slow to act

We had previously had the impression from N that he was not in any exclusive relationship.
The interview I watched yest afternoon, April said similar. This relationship was not YET formalised as gf and bf despite the 5 months. Spelling it out - so that "happily single" FAQ is not necessarily a lie is it?

We sort of led on to have conversations whereby we thought it was getting serious and what we were going to do and what plans we had. So yeah, we were getting on our way to being just us and happy and seeing what we wanted out of each other and where it was going

This simply is not true, he cannot be on it or under it but he could be in it. Not talking about him being in the bin, but hopping into the bin lorry rear after bin has been emptied into it, put back in its place and driver back in the cab. It is possible for him to hop in to the back of it and duck down out of sight of CCTV. Nicola has alluded to this but says she is not sure why he would do this (this morning interview). When the bin is emptied into it, the rubbish is pushed towards the front for compacting but then the blade is secured for travelling, so although the rubbish is compacted to the front the blade is held at the front of the wagon. There is then the possibility that he gets a lift in the rear of the lorry and hops out anywhere between the horseshoe and next collection which was a Waitrose, but prior to entering as all of Waitrose collection is seen on CCTV with no sign of Corrie.

The body found on the M1 is believed to be a murder victim. No mention of links to Corrie, discussed elsewhere that it isn't believed to be linked to Corrie although how that can be stated so soon after this body was found I'm unsure.

There is a big walk your dog type park near.....Sainsburys! (I don't know where the phone was found though!)
