The bin lorry would have been caught on the static sb camera. I have doubts how much of sb it can see but you'd mostly see a part of it pass
I doubt it dc or we would have seen another 40 or so images for id. AFAIK that cam doesnt even point at SB and didnt even catch the 3 teens when they were there so I doubt it is even working tbh? If I haven't seen an image from a particular cam then it prob is not available or is a dummy. They just look like loading bay cams to me.

I'm sorry but I really do not buy this. In an age and culture obessed with elfnsafety and lawyers lurking behind every tree, do you really think anyone would be using a vehicle with machinery that anyone member of the public could hop into and out of at will?

Not saying at all that I believe this, although it has been part of my changing theories over the last few months but it is not correct to say that it isn't possible as it has been confirmed that it is. Would he jump in a bin lorry in his white jeans and pink shirt, but then you wouldn't think in those clothes he would want to sit on the floor of a dirty shop doorway but he did. I just don't think anything possible can be safely ruled out entirely until he is found or officially ruled out given the lack of information.

Satellite imagery shows lots of green space that could be 'parks', with the River Lark running through the middle.
I was just going to say the same.

There is a big walk your dog type park near.....Sainsburys! (I don't know where the phone was found though!)

Thanks. I think that's the area known as Jubilee Fields on the maps?

I notice there does seem to be a fair amount of open and uncultivated ground in the town. Maybe it's my age but to me a "park" has tarmaced paths, flower beds and a fountain rather than just being rough ground.

If I was Suffolk Police I'd get round to the person's house sharpish and annouce one way or another at least if it's a Nokia phone, how hard can that be. I know they'll be busy with the search but they must have someone who could collect it. Rightly or wrongly they're gong to be crticised again for being slow to act

Think they probably have got round there sharpish plus I have no idea how many Lumia 435s there were in circulation in BSE area.

from ur link
"The family have repeatedly asked people to give information directly to the police rather than just posting it on social media."

Yesterday I was just wondering why on earth the finder wouldn't just directly phone the police first instead of announcing thru SM.

That said, I do think big photo of the model , posted on the sites from October onwards , would have helped. That always mystified me, as with many other mystifying elements of this case..

There's one of those too, by the post office.

Actually, no fountain though!

The cctv camera to the rear of Cornwalk Shopping Centre sings verses to me. I would imagine that any decent security/observational system would face the camera towards the barrier for two reasons. The delivery driver is UNLIKELY to open the barrier himself regardless whether or not it's an electronically controlled system secondly, it's a demarcation line. You'd feel obliged to stop anyway. If that's the case (which I think it is), the CCTV camera behind the shopping centre must be 'active' at least on delivery days and the camera must point towards the higher level of the barrier post itself. This affords vision of the road traffic especially cars as they would be level with the post. A side view of a car is easy to identify. A VRN less so. This could be were the identified but not 'identified' comes into play?

Either way, I'm now thinking a vehicle that was parked a hundred yards down SB and away from the 'Horseshoe' altogether. Everyone would avoid detection then.

I possibly have too much time on my hands (week off from work) but I'm keeping a close eye on this story http://swns.com/news/body-of-murder-victim-found-dumped-on-m1-motorway-80375/

I'm hoping it's not C. I just can't shake the niggling months of nothing, then the baby bombshell, followed by this (which occurred at 2am this morning). Not to mention the found mobile (yet to be proven if C's or not) and now the imminent search of buildings in the HS area.

I hope it's just a coincidence, although that's someone's relative :(

So it is a Sainburys there, where the bin lorry went after BSE? Where is the Waitrose that I've seen a few posters referring to recently? I know there's one in BSE but I keep seeing Waitrose mentioned in respect of the bin lorry and I thought all along it was a Sainsburys.

Barton Mills EE directional mast information.
Apparently the mast picked up the phone signal 100-300metres to UPTO 3 KILOMETRES away from BM? Is this correct? If so, we're looking at these entry points for the PHONE ONLY.

I'm still to be convinced they haven't already recovered the phone.and just haven't confirmed it. It would also explain why no further searches were made for the phone.

Waitrose was quoted from the FB Q&A with N. She must have named the wrong supermarket chain.

This simply is not true, he cannot be on it or under it but he could be in it. Not talking about him being in the bin, but hopping into the bin lorry rear after bin has been emptied into it, put back in its place and driver back in the cab. It is possible for him to hop in to the back of it and duck down out of sight of CCTV. Nicola has alluded to this but says she is not sure why he would do this (this morning interview). When the bin is emptied into it, the rubbish is pushed towards the front for compacting but then the blade is secured for travelling, so although the rubbish is compacted to the front the blade is held at the front of the wagon. There is then the possibility that he gets a lift in the rear of the lorry and hops out anywhere between the horseshoe and next collection which was a Waitrose, but prior to entering as all of Waitrose collection is seen on CCTV with no sign of Corrie.

Ok, I get what you're saying but here's the but....BUT, that would leave an incredibly short moment of time (literally seconds) for the bin man to be out of view of the lift button at the rear, walk to the cab, enter the cab, secure the rear and make haste. I'm doubting the fact that Corrie could have physically climbed into the back in those few seconds whilst inebriated not your proposition (which I welcome). The guy couldn't even walk in a straight line never mind do the 'Kickstart Challenge' into the back of the bin lorry.
I don't buy that theory to be honest.

I'm unsure. A local checked it for me and said you might be able to see the side of vehicles but unlikely a person walking if they were on the far side. It's pointed more down into the car park.

It could be that whoever had the phone, has now dumped it in the area it last pinged as the pressure is on. Just an idea. With so much information being so public, if someone is involved, they can use it to their advantage. x

Holy moly! If this phone is Corrie's then it has massive implications on our case. Personally I doubt if it is as Mildenhall has heavy footfall and three/four months on, the chances of anyone losing/dropping a phone are acceptably high. Stay focused with that one!

Meanwhile, I've been trying to shore up the 'Horseshoe' defences. Yadda, yadda,........

My opinion with this particular evidential theory? DEFINATELY left in a vehicle. JMO

I've snipped the best bit - all the photos of parking/collection options.
Keep em coming please!
For me personally, Nicola's HS & second loading bay walkabout video was the biggest bombshell we've had here this week.

Sorry Melmoth, I didn't mean to quote you there, but yes, thats what a park means to me too. Although some have forests within them and large open spaces with no paths. Hmm x

Oh ok, that explains it because I was sure we'd been referring to Sainsburys for weeks and then suddenly it had changed to Waitrose. Thought I was going mad. As you say must have been after the FB Q&A. Thanks.

The express posted a tag line in October saying there was no blood on the recovered phone. I checked and it's still there so I've emailed the journalist to ask whether it should be there
