The food guy isn't eating his food. There's two burgers so it seems like he's either waiting to eat it at home/work/ in a car nearby with possibly another person. If there is another person why aren't they with him?

But C ordered 2 burgers, kebab and chips and there was just him! I have two older brothers and the amount of food they eat after a drink is immense!! I wouldn't think too much of him having two burgers. Instead of trying to walk while eating them he is perhaps just waiting to get his taxi or get home first.

But Corrie was eating as he walked. This guy isn't. He's waiting.

Not necessarily, one carton is likely to be a burger or kebab, the other chips. Most people have two cartons each from a takeaway (if they want chips with it)

Thanks to this clear image I have now found a new camera on St John Street (dome camera outside The Snug).
Excellent spot! So he walking up St Johns street in the direction of the Horseshoe right on the pavement outside "The Snug" Another route Corrie couldn't have gone without being seen.

Obviously I cannot advise on council CCTV systems as they might take their times from a local council server (which I would 'hope' would take its time from Internet servers).

In respect to the private CCTV like shops and local businesses, It is in my experience that such systems are reliant on live Internet connections to provide external viewing and as such the times recorded on such systems should be accurate and in sync to Internet time servers.
Theoretically that is true, factually though it's wrong. Not so tech savvy that I know all the ins and outs, but time stamps on most common cctv are manually set- google time stamps cc tv court or police, also look at the ICO guidance (to own a cctv system you should be registered with them). Likewise working in a building with lots of interactive whiteboards - all linked to the internet via computers, it is not unusual for people to have slightly differing times on their phones, or even between computers on the same server- how that I happens, I have no idea, but it does.

Yes but he isn't C. I don't eat while walking I would carry them and wait until I got home. Also one may chips both may not be burgers. He also may be taken one home for his partner.

I would be showing this picture to the pizza shop guys as they seemed to recognise C as a regular do they know this guy? He also may be a regular! Is he also an RAF chap? Would be worth getting the bases to have a look at him.

No idea about metalheadz, but looks like a storm trooper to me.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm a vegetarian and have no idea how burgers are served!

There are other take away shops near by as well?

dont read too much into that, one example that i can think of is pregnancy cravings and sending my husband out at all hours for food (whilst I sat at home toasty in pyjamas), likewise if he has just finished work and off home and has someone at home waiting.

My mind is boggled that there can be anyone in BSE so unaware of this case that they haven't already come forward as being in the aera at the time.

I don't think they are involved but how do they not know they were out in the middle of the night

Only "The Golden Chip" which shuts at 10pm down St Johns. There is a cut through to St Andrews St North though which brings you out opp bus station just up the road from Pizza Mamma Mia.

Hi all

I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I have joined after being totally intrigued and a tad obsessed about Corrie's disappearance. I have read as much as I can read of the Find Corrie page, the FB page and these threads. I think I am as up to date as possible.

I just wanted to put it out there, I have watched the CCTV of his last movements over and over. I mentioned to a friend last night who knew nothing about it and asked her to have a look for a fresh pair of eyes. (This friend is someone who is a good judge of situations and has fantastic common sense)

Her immediate reaction was that he was going to meet someone on the CCTV of him walking into the bin area. His body language, relaxed with hands in pockets, and that he looks around to see if anyone else nearby. In my mind this was a pre-arranged meeting.

I read that there was an interview with the Mamma Mia Pizza shop workers/owners - could somebody link to that for me please?

<modsnip>

I know this sounds daft and a long shot but I'm wondering whether Corrie's close friends who he went out with a lot can think of the last time they went out in Bury and whether this CCTV shows his movements after leaving the club and whether he went to this loading bay after getting food usually - ie. who goes in before or after him and if he leaves alone, or any clues this way? I feel like the info his mates have given has been very slack *but totally understand this may be slack public knowledge, perhaps limiting what we are told due to closing in on someone*

Just a quick look on St John Street and I can't see a obvious takeaway place that guy could buy something from late at night? Any locals know where he could be coming from with the food?

Even completely honest people are wary of getting involved with the police. People also think they didn't see or speak to Corrie so why bother telling the police they stopped in town to get £20 out for the babysitter or whatever. People would also worry about the possibility of having to be a witness in a court case. The longer this goes on the scarier the outcome could be. People are scared to be 'involved'. Plus those who might have a previous run in with the police or maybe took some drugs that night, or were alone all night etc don't want to be questioned by the police. No matter how much reassurance you offer people like this, few can be persuaded.

Ok, so this guy must have been at the same take away shop as Corrie?

A few pages back it was identified as a 'No Fear ' t shirt.
I gleaned that soon after 'elsewhere' online and agree, it's a no fear tee. Thanks :)
