Either...sound like a serial killers dream come true.
A couple of dodgy accounts...and they're away.

Hopefully not deemed to be straying too off topic, but there's an even worse one than Tinder for locating people. It's called Happn and it actually gives you the street name and time you passed that person :-o

Tinder definitely doesn't give you any notifications if someone is near you, you'd need to log in to see how close people are it's either measured in km or miles. I believe grindr works like that though. Tinder is linked to Facebook so it's generally Facebook pictures that are on the app unless you change them to one uploaded from your phone. To be able to chat with anyone on the app you need to swipe to like them and them to like you, if you both swipe to say you like each other it's a match and only then can contact be made. Any messages disappear if you are unmatched, by either you or the other person removing you. Then the messages are lost. So even if Corrie had been messaging someone and the police/family logged in on another device, if anyone dodgy had been messaging him they'd only need to unmatch with him or delete their account and any messages would be lost.

Thank you you've explained it much better than me :)

I know...I didn't realise until I'd been chatting to a guy and he said "so what were you doing outside my house on I****** Road"

I was referring to late night social venues Melmoth such as nightclubs or bowling alleys or bars gambling houses?

In BSE there's only 2 or 3 clubs open till 3am and a couple of takeaway shops. All the pubs close at or around midnight unless someone was having a cheeky lock-in. If he was waiting for someone to finish work then it would be most likely they worked at one of the clubs, close at 3am.. clean-up, lock-up out by 3:30am..

Thats fits exactly with what Uncle Tony said right at the start, that Corrie knew the bouncer and IIRC he actually used the phrase tap on the shoulder and there hadn't been any trouble as such but Corrie was asked to leave as he'd had to much to drink.
So how does uncle t know this? Presumably from the police. How do they know corrie sent a photo to a friend? From the friend presumably. That friend was corrie's last known contact so who was it? Find out that and maybe the situation will become clearer.

This is where my original Tinder/Grindr theory came from. Was his brother actually covering the families blushes by saying the photo had been sent to him?

Or maybe he never intended on meeting his mates at all, maybe the whole point of him going out was to meet someone else. The excessive drinking...Dutch courage? Lots of food..enough for 2? Meeting got called off at the last minute hence the hanging around to meet up later on?

That was by no means a lot of food for a RAF Reg guy especially after a few drinks!!!

I joined the FB group and I've been getting a few updates on my phone which I can't seem to see on the Facebook page itself, Nicola has been replying directly to some messages - I believe I can refer to them as they were from her. In one asked about conducting public searches she says that she will organising searches but please bear with her as they need to be handled correctly.

Corrie absolutely could not have left that area on foot' without CCTV spotting him ... was caught onCCTV at some point, from him leaving his car to walking to the three pubs he was in with his friends.

In reply to the question of whether Corrie actually got to meet his friends, i remember an interview that said he had been seen arriving in BSE on cctv and to the pubs where he is meeting with his friends. I have tried to find it but the page doesn't load.

In all honesty, I definitely would if it were me and my sibling was missing. I'd say anything - anything - to get them found.

So how do they know about the 3.08 text and photo then? Was that a regular text or email or sms that corrie sent or do they know because the recipient told them/came forward/was traced/seen on cctv? This is important as it was presumably the reason he eventually went to the bin area for a 3.30 meet?

The thing is, whilst I agree with you .... it is "end of night" scran.
He's sat there...and that part of the night is over. So what's he waiting for ?

...again, that was my point. Who sends a photo message to their 'brother' at 0308? That makes no sense to me. I don't do conspiracy theories and I ain't suggesting this is but it's too close to an actual hookup theory for my liking.

That link doesn't work for me.

Is that your opinion that Corrie "absolutely could not have left that area on foot" or is that what it says in the link? If it's in the link who is being quoted? Family or the police?

The photo was of him and his brother not to his brother. Guess it's up for speculation whether it was sent as a "hook up" picture

Lets say "he absolutely cannot walk out of there unseen".
There's fact one.

And lets say (going off the 3rd Oct interview) "he wasn't going to walk home to base either".
There's fact two.

So why is it becoming so difficult for "official sources" to say, yeah okay...he was waiting. Clearly he is not heading back to his grot.

Then we have the "three cars" leaving Short Brackland and "one car" in Brentgovel Street (and the latter, he decided to sit next to) leaving that place.

I'm not Sherlock Holmes, but it becomes apparent that...
# Why was he waiting
# Who drove those 4 cars
.....becomes relevant.

Suicides are general a "one person" act. Rule out that. So...
Hook up
Party
Drugs

I'm not asking "what happened to him", just "what was his intention".

I would of thought if you spent an hour talking to someone on the phone and they suggested you send them a photo from your phone you would of done it there and then not wait several hours and send it at 3 in the morning- would you?

That hour long call could hold a lot of keys to resolving the matter!
