Or have they got the phone and not admitted it perhaps JMO?

Unlikely, given there's no mention in the article itself of any phone recovery - just the photo caption.

Oh good grief - what is going on today. Didn't mean to post twice and now cannot cancel. Never mind, the intention was there.

That's a great timeline and fact collection, we now just need the verifiable source for each of them.
However I bet when we've done that, we're going to be left with very little verified/official information.

It's impossible to match up pings with bin lorries when we do not know categorically that the family "ping" info is correct. The police have never confirmed it or even mentioned it "pings". Rather they've mentioned phone data analysis which places Corrie/his phone in Mildenhall.
Neither do we have official or verifiable sources to confirm the times that the bin lorry was out and about.

Great work. Except how do we do know the binman faffed about doing paperwork?

I do not accept that a bin lorry making one collection took anywhere near 25 minutes to do so. Which means if he was there at 4:20 (and we don't know if that's even true) the 4am suggestion was probably just a guesstimate.

Wonder why the bin lorry only picked up one of the Biffa bins (is it confirmed it was Biffa?) when there are a few others in the area. Crazy to have someone dawdling about on night shifts rates just to pick up a bagful of paper. The more I think about it the more I feel suspicious of the binman or bin company.

I'm not sure he only made one collection here either but looking at the bins in this photo suggests just one or two max?
6b2469d6fe806c9b36ee54ad9d3b92a5.jpg

The bin man times are reading between the lines and based on the 0420 teenager sighting at the back of Cornwalk. The collection time duration could very well be eroded due to amount of bins, amount of paperwork and driving speed....

I don't even know if it has been confirmed as Biffa but with there site in Hollow Lane and Biffa bins already in place, chances are that it was a Biffa collection bin that was lifted.

Have I missed something (don't have time to go through all the posts I've missed) but in that Express report, under the pic of Corrie it says 'police forensics found no evidence of blood on the young man's recovered phone'
Have they found his phone or is this shoddy reporting like the cars have been traced and discounted?

Is it meant to say "no evidence of blood OR the young mans phone"? (not sure where the 'recovered' bit fits in)

I've said it before and I'll say it again - given how much apparent information we are receiving from the family and the press (though not much from the police) much of it is misleading. Quantity over quality I think.
It definitely says recovered phone and this is an MSM source. If they have recovered the phone and haven't told the family that could be the "betrayal" IMO.

Now, if the father believes Corrie might have been picked up from Short B, doesn't that suggest that the police have told him it's an option? Because IF the police confirmed Tony's assertion that it is impossible to have left on foot, dad wouldn't be suggesting otherwise.

It makes sense there is a "black hole"... standing in the open bit of bin area you wouldn't be seen by the Cornhill cameras, you wouldn't be seen by the Short B private CCTV and you'd only be on the rotating camera for 42 seconds out of 210. Apparently.

Is there really no chance Corrie went for a wee, crossed over to Short B and got hit by a car coming from behind him round the same corner? Or, how SURE are we that he definitely would have been filmed up Short B? How far up Short B?

Very detailed! Are you able to link your sources, or would you like us all to chip in with finding the relevant links?

I'm working on linking in the facts to the times (such as 0420: bin man sees...etc).
Please feel free to all chip in and I'll amend and keep posting the amended one.
This forum is about communicating, discussing and fleshing out the details. We're lucky to be part of a democratic and respectful forum so chip in folks!

Can someone remind me the source of the police 8am disconnection info? I have the family 5am source (here, for anyone else looking) but can't find the police saying the phone disconnected at 8am.

It was in the early interview with the police officer, Nicola and Darroch.
I can't look for the link because I'm in a meeting and can't risk the volume coming up really loud if it starts playing! [emoji849]

I'm gonna take a timeout till that MSM is verified

Especially if he took as long on the second stop as the BSE one plus a break in mcD that could be another hour easy.

The driver will be governed by Drivers Hours (Tachograph) as well as European WTD. The suggested start time for this particular shift was around 0300-0330. All bin lorry times have pivoted around that time and the factual 0420 teenager sighting by the bin lorry driver in the rear of Cornwalk.
If the shift start time could be exacted it would help immensely. Additional variables are the legal rest breaks for the tachograph (compulsory) and the variable rest breaks to suit the WTD issues. Complicated stuff which I could most definitely work out if I had a start time, a copy of his work sheet and his tachograph download for that day. :(

In the CCTV of Corrie heading to the bin area, does it look like he was going to walk past, but someone in a car in the horseshoe area calls over to him (possibly along the lines of "Oi, over here a minute mate") and that is why he looks around then sheepishly walks over to the bins? So, not a pre-arranged meet but he goes over to see what it is they want ... and then I've no idea.

Does anyone know of any commercial outlets in Mildenhall that would need their waste (have we settled on which type of waste yet?) emptying by Biffa (are we settling on Biffa?)?

I'm going to try and work out the complications of the route timings for the bin lorry. Melmoth/RogertheLodger, do you think you could ascertain if Biffa in BSE collect from the Horseshoe. If so, what is the shift start time for that job and what are the collection points, how long, arrival times etc?
TIA.

Police have ongoing enquiries to trace Corrie and continue to appeal for anyone who may have seen him in the early hours of Saturday 24 September, anyone who may have seen him since or anyone with information about where he is now to come forward.

Officers are looking into a reported sighting of a man dressed in light coloured clothing walking near the Hollow Road industrial estate, at the back of the sugar beet factory around 4.20am. It should be stressed that this is not a confirmed sighting and police are asking anyone who may have been in this area, or in the vicinity, to come forward regardless of whether you saw anything or not.

At this time there are no confirmed sightings of Corrie after 3.25am in Brentgovel Street.

It is important that anyone who may have anything that may help comes forward as soon as possible.

Today further searches are being carried out between the A143 and A134, with Suffolk and Norfolk police search teams being joined by specialist search trained RAF personnel and Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue volunteers.

Police are continuing to ask anyone who may have been out in the Bury St Edmunds, Honington or Barton Mills area in the early hours of Saturday 24 September to come forward.

Would/could this work in with any factual info given out ? Really it's the only possible link available so far.

Has the text message Corrie sent at 03:08 been looked in to?
YES, Corrie sent a picture message to a friend, it was part of an earlier conversation.

The information from the Police regarding the phone comes from 2 separate reports a day apart. One report states that they believe Corrie was in the Mildenhall area between 4.30 and 8am and the 2nd report doesn't mention times but says the phone does not move after this and it has not been used since. I presume therefore this is linked to 8am.
