Stewart asked officer: 'Have you found her?'

Pc Hancock adds: “I was in that vehicle. The entire journey from Royston to Stevenage police station, I kept my camera running in the car.

“Although Stewart had identified some medication when he was still in his bedroom that he would like to take with him, he realised on the journey that he’d left his inhaler and some other medication behind.

“We went back to the house and I told two officers at the house to pack up his medication and have it ready to hand.

“While we were in that vehicle, Stewart said words to the effect of ‘have you found her?’

“He was told that as he was under arrest, the investigation couldn’t be discussed with him until he was formally interviewed later on.

“We arrived at the police station at 8am. Stewart was taken to see the custody sergeant.

“At 9.06am I turned off my bodyworn camera.”

Video shows Stewart's son Jamie answering door to police + explaining that his dad is asleep upstairs. Officers ask him to wake him up

If they can see that the 1.16pm attempt was made from a mobile, would they be able to find what area this phone was in, at 1.16pm? Why have they not said what device the 7.58pm attempt was made from?
Maybe they need someone with more technical expertise. My bet is he used a remote desktop app to make it look like he was in a different location to the device used at 7.58.

Or maybe I'm over-thinking things.

If I was IS I would be having sleepless nights rather than still sleeping at 7am.

A * computer expert * should have done that - but something tells me he didn't

So he's asking about the garage doors as he wants to know if they're about to find the body so that he can be ready & prepared for his interrogation?

Stewart, dressed in a robe, then goes upstairs to get changed and collect medication before being taken to the police station.

Stewart is told he won't be placed in handcuffs. But is told he will be body searched in case of self harm

Either that's in code or he knew he was going away for a long time.

Stewart asks officers if the garage door is open

Stewart can be seen to be in shock and tells officers: “I don’t understand”. Stewart is then taken to his bedroom to get dressed and collect his medication. Upon his arrest, Stewart is also heard to ask officers if the garage door is open.

After getting dressed, Stewart can then be seen to be taken downstairs by police. He shouts out to ask his son, Jamie, if he is OK. He is also heard to repeat: “I don’t understand.”

He then calls out to his son Jamie, before going up to him and hugging him, before emotionally telling him to take care of himself.

Stewart is seen to empty £120 out of his jeans pocket, before saying the money was for someone else and giving it to his son Jamie.

RSBM

Oh I doubt that. Much more like: he needed a reason to return to the house to see how the search was progressing.
