There was a post on here, a few days back, saying he had a Company Pension - not sure now where that info came from but would perhaps explain some of the monthly income

Next witness: Amanda King Jones, solicitor for Irwin Mitchell

The next prosecution witness to be called is Amanda King Jones, a solicitor for law firm Irwin-Mitchell. She prepared a draft will for Ms Bailey. She sent a version ready to be printed and signed. She had an email from Ms Bailey saying she had signed it and who the witnesses were. The jury are being handed a signed version of the will that Ms King-Jones helped to create.

Fancy that , 162 k in a number of accounts and only £600 into the JAcc from Helen. The successful altering to 6k in may not in april.
Incentive in helen's life insurance, but a small policy for Diane

I think he changed the SO in April, but the change would not take effect until the next due payment date, which was May

That's her 2012 Will - she re did her Will in 2014, in favour of IS, unfortunately

Eh? Wtf. The case was started on the basis he was set to inherit money. Either whoever is writing the updates from court is getting muddled or this case sounds like a shambles.

Changes to the will to include Ian Stewart

She explains she met with Ms Bailey to discuss changing her will.

She says: “When I met with Helen Bailey she had prepared a short agenda she wanted to make a will but hadn’t made her mind up fully as to what she wanted to do.

“She told me the reasons for reviewing her will were firstly that her current will was out of date, and secondly that there was no provision being made for Ian Stewart.

“She wanted that he would have immediate access, as soon as could be possible, to funds to ensure that he could remain in the house and also more long-term that he would have funds and inheritance to be able both to live in that property or another and generally.

“She recognised that because she was not married he would not benefit.”

The prosecutor explains “the bulk of the old will went to other people not to Ian Stewart.”
