Even if you've deleted your browsing history I thought an expert could still find traces!

I wonder if HB actually had a mumsnet account and posted about this. Can we find her mumsnet account? I presume she had one if she was searching the forum for clues. Maybe she even posted on there about this problem.

I don't think so - she'd use a search function within the forum I think if she was a member rather than Google.

Legal powers over missing people was searched on a computer

“During a second examination of the Asus laptop, there were also searches found on power of attorney, something to do with making a will or so on. “We use specific terms when we carry out searches, I did find this time, in the chrome bookmarks folder, entries relating to web pages visited and bookmarked. “One of these was for power of attorney at the www.gov.uk site, another one contained the terms ‘presumption of death, new legal powers, missing person’. “The first bookmark was identified as being saved at 12.49pm on June 17. “The second one was at 2.23pm on June 15.”

#helenbailey Expert tells court web searches on Stewart laptop "presumption of death..legal powers families missing people

Wow, before or after helen disappeared I wonder.

When was he on holiday ?

Were those June searches done in Palma ?

Does anyone remember the dates he asked questions on the computer forums? think that was jsut before and after Helen went missing.

Fragments of information 'overwritten' court hears

DC France added: “The small fragments found on the first examination of the computer had gone by the time we examined it again, but this is not unusual on the fact that it was two months of so after the original examination. “It would not be unusual for data to be overwritten on browser history.”

I have had a search on Mumsnet using a variety of words and phrases around that date and I can't find anything that relates to it.
She could have posted there as the stepmother of adult sons...people post there for all kind of reasons. But nothing in the search around those dates jumps out at me.

Mplab x

Postby Sykic » Sat Apr 09, 2016 7:15 pm
Just found chip kit looks like it might save me a lot of work
Have I understood right the mpide is no longer been developed but the chipkit libraries development and support is continuing ?

I have Mplab running with a pickit3 on an olimex board pic32-pinguino

Not interested in mpide want to set break points watch variables etc.

What is the easiest way to access the chipkit libraries etc. From within Mplab x
Do I have to install mpide ? Do I start with the ardunio ide and then install chipkit core ?

Some examples I have seen include plib.h don't think this is supported anymore ?

Thanks in advance for any advice pointer what to do where to look

Who owns controls chipkit

"Stewart’s defence barrister, Simon Russell Flint, made the point to jurors that there wouldn’t have been a dog in the house at this time Stewart spoke to Ursula, as Boris was missing with Helen at this time."

So what? He could have been going for walks with somebody else who had a dog, or even walking someone's dog. It was a reasonable question for her to ask.

I think that the defence barrister is defending IS's use of past tense when Ursula states she found it strange he said 'we had a dog'. The defence barrister seems to be saying IS's use of the past tense is valid if the dog is no longer there at the property- think he is intimating it is not incriminating, though most of the witnesses appear to think it is (and us here!)

I know this is a terrible crime but I am having to laugh out loud at the idiocy of this man. I can only think that he's so arrogant and deluded that he thought he'd get away with it.

Arrogance and a sense of entitlement seemed to override sensibility in his case...

I know. I am just feeling so delighted that they have recovered all this stuff....justice for Helen

and then feeling so sad that this work was necessary

Looks as though he was aware of the new Guardianship Law that is about to become law. He was looking up New Legal Powers for Missing Persons. That means he would be able to deal with her finances. Apparently anyone can apply to do this it doesn't need to be a Husband!!! So no waiting 7 years.
