Helen was a very clever lady. There's no way on earth she would take tablets she knew had been prescribed to help someone sleep, and then be so utterly confused as to why she was so tired etc.

What a load of utter :cow: poo

  • #324
Well.....so she took all the drugs herself (allegedly), but he still has to explain the cesspit away.

That one's easy, Nico and Jose. Or the cleaner. Or maybe Helen managed to wriggle into the space with Boris and pull the cover back in place?

The hiding of the broken hare sounds far more like something bratty, selfish children do. My money is on Oliver.

And never mentioned that she was taking zoplicone... or asked for a prescription of her own to help with sleeping...

Why would he expect the court to believe that Helen took his tablets herself when they've already been told she had mentioned to her mum about falling asleep during the day and was googling being tired etc?

Not to mention that any normal intelligent person wouldn't use someone else's prescribed meds!!

The man is delusional as well as a total bar steward

Taken...

18 years ago, my mum was stopped from driving for 3 years after an epileptic episode. As we were told at the time, had she taken another one in that time it would have confirmed her as epileptic, they would have medicated her and she would have got her licence back right away.

the only reason she had to wait the full 3 years was that she didn't have another episode in that time. Sounds as if Diane might be in the same category? Having an episode does not necessarily mean you are epileptic

ps is anyone else having trouble posting with half written posts disappearing or am I doing something wrong?

Have you ticked the "Remember me" box underneath the login line? If not, you're being timed out.

So, as Colour Purple said earlier, what happened to Big Bean and Little Bean ( it's in one of ISs statements )

Couple nicknamed each other BB for Broad Bean (Stewart) + LB for Live Bean (Helen) after Facebook convo about what veg they would be

What a stupid way to phrase the Q - of course anyone would notice that !

Chloe Keedy ‏@ChloeKeedyITV 4m4 minutes ago

Russell Flint QC: 'If you had stuck a tablet in the middle of her poached egg would she have noticed?' Stewart: 'I would think so yes.'

Taken...

Yeah she was "taken" just after she'd decided to go for it and was about to order the expensive ring that IS had agreed to pay for. Very interesting timing.

absolutely.
nailed via the video interview

“The note [Helen left] was handwriting, it wasn’t typed. I thought it was Helen’s. And she signed the note, no one else would have signed it like that.

“LB is a nickname I had for Helen, my nickname is BB. It’s going back to when we first met. She was little bean and I was big bean.”

but....wait for it..... under cross ex it will becomes "memory issues", he thinks he has it all covered.

“Did you administer zopiclone to her surreptitiously in any way, at any time? “No” she would have noticed, as it has a bitter taste.”

Case called back on

The case is being called back on. Stewart is back in the witness box. “Helen had been writing the book, publicity started before it was published. “That was an ordeal for Helen. Every time she did an interview she relived the whole story”. Stewart breaks down in tears again as he apologies to jurors ‘sorry’ he says. “The same questions were being asked of her. This carried on from October 2015 to January 2016.”

Exactly

Why would she be googling about feeling tired if she was taking sleeping pills?

“She had dizziness before January 25, 2016"

“Helen was complaining of dizzy spells but she went to get new glasses. “She was supposed to wear them at the computer. “She had dizziness before January 25, 2016. Helen put the self scan gun in the shopping bags one time, that really got to her. She was really upset.

“She went on about that many times, that she couldn’t understand how she’d done it.

“Leaving Boris on the beach was in 2016. It wasn’t such a big thing as made out. “We were walking him on the beach, we decided we had enough, Helen got to the top of some steps and realised Boris wasn’t with us, but he was right behind us on the beach.”

"It really got to her"

“If Helen got back to the house and left him behind that would have been a total disaster. “It was nothing like that, but it really got to her.”

"Sometimes Helen was worried our relationship was going too fast"

“Sometimes Helen was worried our relationship was going too fast. In the summer of 2012 we were seeing each other almost constantly. “In April she saw Diane’s jewellery box and asked if she could look at it. She picked up an eternity ring I got Diane in Greece. “That was a special ring for Diane. Helen said ‘would I mind if she put it on? So she did, she really liked it’. “I said would you like it? Maybe some people wouldn’t understand that. She said yes. “A few weeks later I decided I wanted Helen to marry me. We took her to a place with seven springs in Ashwell for a walk with the dog, on bended knee I asked if she would marry me, she said instantly yes, but she said she couldn’t get married yet and everything needed to feel right. “I gave her Diane’s eternity ring, which I had cleaned and engraved. It was two rings, and the diamond was between the two bands. “I’d had engraved on one band ‘BB’ and on another band ‘LB’ - as in Broad Bean and Live Bean.” Stewart breaks down in the witness stand as he said: “It was a way of continuing the love from Diane on to Helen. Helen never told anyone that I don’t think, because most people wouldn’t understand that. “There were no dates considered yet, the wedding was something that would happen in the future when she was ready.”

Golly, so, just as we guessed, it WAS Diane's ring! And since Helen is dead, we have only Ian Stewart's word that Helen was aware of this. But what about the boys? Would they not think it a bit awful that their Dad had given his new partner their Mum's ring? Presumably they at least would have known about it if they saw Helen wearing the ring.
Also another puzzling inconsistency: I though LB was 'Little Bean' and BB was 'Big Bean' ??? Has he really lost his memory, or is he a master confabulator...

Hey - came back into this after doing some jobs and failed to notice you guys already spotted the LB BB thing - I'll try not to get behind!
