A FAMILY are "extremely worried" after a man travelled to Glasgow after being reported missing in the Manchester area.
Himmet Singh, 40, was seen near the Smiths Hotel on Sauchiehall Street and the Hampton Court Hotel on Renfrew Street yesterday evening.
Police have revealed Mr Singh has been having a hard time recently and his family are growing increasingly worried about him. They are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may help to trace him.
He is described as 5ft9, with short shaved black hair at the back and sides, with longer hair on top, and a short groomed beard.
He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, navy blue jeans, a dark coloured parka jacket with a furry hood and brown coloured boots.
Inspector Bart Simonis from Baird Street Police Station said: “Himmet has been going through a difficult time recently and his family are extremely worried about him.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have seen Himmet in the Glasgow area, or has any information on his whereabouts, to come forward.
“I would also urge Himmet to please make contact with someone to confirm he is safe and well.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1152 of Saturday, October 2, 2021.”
