GUILTY UK- Major incident declared in Southport after multiple stabbings, 29 July 2024

Have we heard anything from his parents ?
Violent, dangerous <modsnip - generalization> do not get radical treatment ?
Has the society to bear all the blunt from those not being constraint to take medecine ?

It mirrored an horrific early warning when he was just 13 and was expelled from Range High School in Formby after calling ChildLine and threatening to bring a knife to lessons and attack bullies.

Shortly before he was expelled, Rudakubana was caught on video being dramatically held back by fellow pupils at Range High. The footage seen by the Mail is understood to have involved him trying to attack a child who he accused of bullying him.

In chaotic scenes, Rudakubana is seen lunging as at least three other pupils and a teacher surround him, while other children watch on from their classroom desks.

He then attended specialist educational units including a college in Southport which sources said he only attended 'two or three times'.

Rudakubana was today branded 'generational evil' by professionals who tried to work with the troubled teenager after his expulsion from school over his obsession with genocidal killers and bloody dictators.

He discovered how to make ricin after downloading a document called Military Studies in the Jihad Against the Tyrants: The Al Qaeda Training Manual. Possession of it is a terrorism offence.

He bought the equipment to produce ricin in early 2022. He later bought two Cerebra 20-inch kitchen knives on Amazon for £3.40 each – one of which was used on July 29. The second was found in his family's living room.

Although the sale of knives is banned to under-18s, he obscured his identity and asked for deliveries to be 'made in plain packaging'. A machete and scabbard, a set of arrows and a black holdall were also found.

A 'suspicious substance' found at his home in the early days of the search was confirmed to be ricin by experts at Porton Down on August 2 but the risk to the public was deemed 'low to very low'. There was no evidence Rudakubana took any ricin to the dance studio or what his plans were for the substance.

The government denied it was a terrorist attack and were not informed that he had manufactured ricin.

I can't help but wonder what his parents think. Obviously they sound like decent human beings, considering they've raised one child so well, and initially got Axel into drama and singing etc...so will surely find his actions abhorrent and unforgivable, but I wonder if they knew he had an evil inside him that couldn't be fixed. The contrast to his brother is striking (straight A student, studying maths at Uni, in the Uni brass band etc...). I wonder if they knew it was just a matter of time before Axel did something maliciously destructive and feel relief that he is at least locked away now, and can do no more harm. He was seemingly beyond help.

My original opinion was that rehabilitation for Axel was not realistic. After hearing more about his behaviour and and the fact that LE had contact prior to this event with Alex it is very clear that there really is no hope of rehabilitating him.

I am wondering if there is a medical diagnosis of autism. I’m also wondering if he has undiagnosed schizophrenia.

I don’t know what the judge will do about sentencing. His/her hands may be legally tied due to Alex’s age but IMO this monster will always be a threat to those around him even those in prison.

He should NEVER be among us to walk the streets again.

“It is clear that this was a young man with a sickening and sustained interest in death and violence,” Ursula Doyle, the deputy chief crown prosecutor for the Mersey-Cheshire region, said outside the courtroom where Mr. Rudakubana entered his guilty plea. “He has shown no sign of remorse.”

The prime minister said the Southport attack "must be a line in the sand" and "nothing will be off the table" in the public inquiry.

I'm wondering about traumatisation, especially with his fascination with genocide. He didn't experience the genocide in Ruanda first-hand but traumatisation can be passed on to further generations, and NOT just by experiencing other trauma. At least there are theories about trauma being passed on epigenetically, which I believe due to what I see as strong evidence. MOO https://www.healthcentral.com/condition/post-traumatic-stress-disorder/epigenetics-trauma There are lots of other websites about it too.

(In dysfunctional families, the abuse continues in some form from generation to generation and so does the traumatisation. That is NOT what I believe happened here.)

I do NOT see traumatisation as a get-out-jail-free card, nor as a reason to downgrade any punishment!!! This young man is a danger to everybody in society, I don't believe trauma therapy is going to help, I think he's way beyond that. I hope he's locked away for good. I think it's possible too, despite his age. The murderer of little Alesha MacPhail in Scotland was also underage when he did his crime but afaik the general legal consensus was: he's going to be put away for ever. Scots Law is different from the law in England & Wales tho so maybe that's why.

It’s absolutely wild. Why is it time and time over everything and every system is failing. Guidelines not working. Protocol being by passed etc. can anyone not do their job anymore? What on earth is going on?
It seems like every single time something like this happens the perpetrator was "known the the police/authorities". Over and over again we hear the same story.

I don't think there is any credible possibility of him ever being released, tbh. He will receive a life sentence but the minimum starting point for the custodial part is low due to his age. Whatever the judge sets he will most likely spend much longer inside and likely never be released. You can't rehabilitate someone like that, imo.

I agree. I can't see him being released no matter what his minimum term is.
