Interesting, thanks.

Just been discussing with the wife and we both agree that even if I couldn't get in touch with her after half an hour or so of being due home, it wouldn't result in me sticking my gear on to go out for a look around.

Each family is different of course, but this makes me think that there's some Comms being kept back by police (and rightly so).
We said the same, my husband also wouldnt call police that soon. Definitely makes you wonder…

I've not seen so many ghouls as have latched on to this case since the abuse directed at the McCanns. Perhaps there's an overlap.

I have no extra theories after watching that, no flashes of inspiration. Just to say that in that last segment with PA, imo he was beginning to crumble. As if briefly he allowed himself to think of the possibility she might not come back but couldn't allow himself to go there. I feel awfully sad for him.

Those asking why you can’t just throw a stick or mannequin in river

Here is an extensive military document talking about modelling river systems

It’s dozens of pages, unbearably complicated, and in summary depends on momentum, wind, temperature, rainfall, the random nature of water (ever watched a water droplet make its way down a window?), bedrock, debris, and an obscene amount of maths and equations. Seems simulations have to run for weeks at a time to get anything accurate and that’s not even tidal! https://www.hec.usace.army.mil/conf...Intro+to+Unsteady+Flow+Equations+(Jensen).pdf

I had a shiver watching it. And that last question directed at PA-“are you going to be alright”
At this point id have had an absolute nervous breakdown.

I also wouldn't get panicky if OH was 30 mins later than routine or if wasn't answering couple of calls but isn't he saying that the school then called him - about the dog tied-up & phone & no Nicola - so that would create panic. It's at this point he called cops?

She done things differently that morning and everything was laid out ready…why?
Maybe she was keen to get going as she wanted to get the school run done and get to a quiet area in time for the Teams meeting. Although in my opinion if this was a regular feature of her walks then I can’t see why that day would be different to many others.

This will lead to another upsurge , they're so blatant..
Thing is PA has CCTV at home, police would automatically have examined that.. that exonerates him of wrongdoing.

Speculating to the contrary is just abuse for the sake of abusing.

Given that he was interviewed by police on the Friday and has probably had regular interaction with the family liaison officers appointed to the case, no doubt they've noticed any potential bruising and had a chat with PA about it ! Just my own opinion obviously.

I’m beginning to think PA knows more than he is letting on. As in knows more but has been advised not to say. Like someone above thread said, something has happened.
PA said in ‘the village’ something has happened.
Maybe there’s a suspicious person he’s always felt uncomfortable about?? Or a family or something.

I just really feel and think he has an inkling, maybe LE are onto it and pursuing it as a line of enquiry. Perhaps this programme is to appeal to a slightly more innocent party who knows what’s happened. ??

Yes he called police AFTER the call from the school

That's exactly what i can see.
IMO MOO he came across as very genuine and utterly exasperated by the police sticking to the river line of enquiry. I have confidence in my belief he is innocent. If my partner had been missing in these circumstances I'd be losing my mind behind the scenes and probably have similar injuries. Anyone with kids knows a black eye is an easy thing for a parent to get with frustrated and likely upset kids.

I'm not convinced this was planned, whatever has happened by whoever has possibly done something, has been a spur of the moment incident, and more a fluke of sheer luck they haven't been caught yet.

I'd 100% be looking more at finding any unidentified outbuildings, rumoured basements, industrial units with only vague security on them though and perhaps ones where only limited people have access, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for them to be there either. My thought train just went to somewhere with overnight security, no idea why though. IMO MOO.

Though if she absolutely has never been in the river, I believe she will be found there soon, as with all the fuss about it, if anyone has done something... they'd only have to make it so that she was discovered there. IMOO

Unfortunately Faulding started a lot of this! ( Along with the fallacy that this river is easy to search & she could never have made it to the sea etc)
Also can't help wondering the impact that kind of endless disinfo has on her partner & on the family's deteriorating view of Lancs Police's operation.

I thought the size and positioning of the hat was odd in the first interview. I also thought the sunglasses were very odd on the PF walkabout. But that's been a black eye that has turned brown as it has healed.
There's at least one photo of PA and NB where he's wearing the same hat (I think) in exactly the same way - pulled right down almost over his eyes.

That poor man. His entire world has been turned inside out, and he's probably suffering immense trauma in the glare of all this media, while trying to take care of their children. Getting from hour to hour is probably enough right now.

What on earth has PA's appearance got to do with ANYTHING?

Faulding literally mentioned throwing a stick in!

Surely if she’d fallen in the river there would be evidence of her trying to claw her way out or grabbing at foliage etc?
PF has shown some rocky below the surface footage and contends it wasn't deep enough at that point to get into difficulty. PA says the harness was found on the river banking. So what if she had been chasing around with Willow in order to get the harness on, overbalanced and struck her head - as simple as that. So no clawing or struggling.

This was after her received the call from the school. If I’ve been trying to call my partner for 20 minutes, and she’s not with her phone and our dog has been abandoned, I’m calling the police.

Interview states the harness found halfway down the embankment. Is that new?
