I know everyone keeps saying her dog would have gone into the water after her and would be wet, but what if Willow didn’t see it happen? A split second thing, by the time Willow got over there she couldn’t see anything?
So phone on bench as it’s within eyesight, harness and lead off incase Willow goes for a swim, throws ball for Willow, Willow runs after and and NB falls? By the time Willow retrieves the ball and comes back there is no sign? JMO

They actually dont. Or do to an extent but definitely do not have a "unlock all" piece of software to bypass every screen lock.
Taken from a solicitors website

"Unless the data on the phone is encrypted the police can still access the information lawfully with specialist software. However, the police would usually warn a suspect that they could potentially damage the device in doing this."

The police can keep your phone for as long as they feel is necessary in order to conduct their investigation. For the purposes of law enforcement, the police are allowed to hack devices through the powers granted to them by the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 and the Police Act 1997.

I definitely never said they have a ‘Unlock all’ piece of software. I said they can bypass and get into phones, they 100% can and do. Encryption may be a problem but they do. I assume they need a good warranted reason of course and having a passcode would make their job easier. Her phone might not have even had a passcode on it for all we know and in most cases her partner or at the very least her 9 year old will know the passcode to provide it to police.

read the other posts, it shows this was wrong, we matched it up properly shes just past the pathway looking back on the normal route side near to the bench.
dont think so, the fencing on the right matches the house, the fencing in rotation matches the view from bench. and the distance matches my original conclusion

I’m guessing if you were to lose your footing stepping backwards you’d be more likely to bang your head as you couldn’t put your arms out. Horrible and sad thought.

Me and my wife know each others pin codes - he most likely did and just tell them that.

I imagine they've cordoned it off just to stop the public. Especially if they were to find her they won't want an audience.

The locals are out looking for her, so they can't all believe she ended up in the water. The Tennis Club is being used as a hub for the community to help search for her. It's mentioned here in the GB News . Edited to add JMO MOO

We don't know why they have closed it. It's probably because she's been found IMO.

I would have thought the media would be reporting on tents being erected if she had been found.

The cordoning off of the bench (and the surrounding area, as it sounds in the article), sounds like one of two things, either:

1) They've found her
2) They've realised its a potential crime scene

More likely 2) IMO
Bit late to corden it off when News reporters have been sat on it, reporting from it. JMO MOO. Edited to ask if its confirmed the bench is cordoned off now?

Less likely if it's a work device.
Or if there is more to all of this and somebody has something to hide!

Highly unlikely the phone didnt have a passcode or finger print unlock enabled. Especially if a work device.
