I might be really off the mark here and i do stand to be corrected, but... If a grown adult fell in that particular area above the weir too. Would the undercurrant be strong enough to bundle her weighted body down past the weir and further down stream? It seems quite timid from what ive seen and my gut tells me that it was strong enough to drag her down stream that much.
A few people have asked about this. Given the speed that searchers were in the scene and the distance of the weir from the possible falling in place, and also the low level of the water, it seems unlikely to me too, and more likely that the weir would act as an obstacle to the body.
But I am no expert in river body recovery.

there is currently no CCTV footage of Nicola on the day she went missing ! Details of what she was wearing have been made public and she was seen by eye witnesses
The fact there is no cctv of her at all says to me that there are several possibilities of what has happened.

Has everyone watched this? This man says he is the one who can find a body in water when others cannot. He also asks: 'Was phone left as a decoy?'

First Post.
Followed this lurking for a while I live 10 miles away from this area and often passed through on visits to my Gran.

In light of all the information that is now known this article really puzzles me.

OMG if this is true there still could be hope

So does that mean NB was up 100ft away from her phone on Tuesday? Or someone that had/has her Fitbit ? How could that be? Surely the police forensics had her phone then?

But this woman in yellow did her trip (possibly to shops) before Nikki had started her walking journey.

I can’t see the relevance?
It's possible that they just want to ask her if she saw anyone else in the area that might have been a witness. Building up a full picture before and after NB's last known sighting will also be important.

Neither can I. But that's the media/police for you.

Lets face it, they have absolutely nothing to go on.
Or they know exactly what happened and are waiting to gather as much evidence as possible before coming forward. Personally, I think its more sinister than the river.. But hey, that's why most of us have an interest.

The school has cctv, you can see it on the building, whether it covers every part of the Car park is a diff matter.
I struggle to believe in this day in age, between her leaving home and getting to the bench let’s say she wasn’t picked up anywhere on camera. Doorbell, dashcam, cctv…. Zero.
Its ok describing what she was wearing but that might not resonate.
I read she was wearing a gilet. Then it was a full Length gilet. There’s a big difference and I would be more likely to remember if I’d seen someone in a caterpillar gilet than a regular one.

Just because the CCTV footage is from an earlier time doesn’t mean she wasn’t still in the area later.

If it would be quite new it would hold for 4 days easily. Mine did, with time I need to charge it every 2 days or so.
One pic of NB said "not one in pic one she was wearing was pale blue" so possibly a new one

A river will hold a body for a long time

There are many many examples

I recall a case followed here on web sleuths where Liam Colgan went missing in Hamburg during February. There was s long flurry on here. Much speculation. He was eventually recovered from the river in the April, snagged on the mooring ropes of a boat.
I completely agree. The most likely scenario is usually the one that actually is the outcome IMO. I think N.B. will be found in that river, just not right away! Conspiracies fluorish during the waiting time.

As with the lady in the red coat, I find it very odd that the police released the picture of the lady in yellow pushing the pram and asked her to come forward. Surely in a small village they could just ask the community, rather than needing to release nationally?

I understand that both witnesses (red coat lady and yellow pram lady) had already spoken to the police. In which case it’s even odder. Police looking to be seen to be doing more perhaps??

Yes we discussed this at length and went around in circles about it. MOO

The petrol station just after the bridge should have cameras and at least one that should cover the road too I would have thought.. Maybe.

Friend of Nicola's spoke to Sky yesterday, was asked about a ball and was very clear NB no longer takes a ball on dog walks
Just watched it and she never mentioned a ball?

What’s more, I can’t understand how a friend would categorically know Nikki was no longer letting Willow play with a ball on walks? If Nikki said that to her frIend it could have been in jest as nearly all dog owners allow their dogs toys when out for walks. The whole thing gets crazier…

Ok but that was the Elbe which is navigable by large ocean going container ships!

A huge river with powerful tides.

Not at all comparable.

I find it very odd that we haven’t seen any pictures of her from the day.

Was she definitely there?

Who says? Who were the witnesses, caravan site owner, and who else.

So much not adding up.

The woman in yellow pushing a child in a stroller was walking in the area/road before Nikki had even started her walk after dropping her daughters off at school.

This whole thing becomes more bizarre by the minute.
Maybe checking on local reports of suspicious behaviour - have heard in SM. If she had seen any of the suspicious things postulated earlier in the day.
