Would it be possible for a body to end up that far with nobody seeing it? It seems an awfully long distance.
Yes because as previously mentioned bodies may stay submerged for up to 7/8 days and travel along the bottom - no air in lungs. Gases from decomposition may change this. Forensic water expert PF said this.

Libby Squire also found some distance from point of entry.

IMO I’d like to say something about Fitbits, I have been wearing them for many years, updating the watches themselves over time. You can access all the data directly from an app on your phone. If they have NB’s phone, the app doesn’t require a password so they must have her Fitbit data, you don’t need to contact Fitbit for it, it should all be right there on her phone? Unless they haven’t been able to get into her phone, I’m a bit puzzled by this as they would know if she was alive or not simply by the heartbeat data. MOO

The last sync to her phone was the Tuesday before her disappearance.

JMO: I think it could be hugely important if the phone were confirmed to be found on the ground initially. That would suggest it was dropped rather than left whether in a deliberate act of trying to leave a trace by NB or in a struggle of some kind. Were she to have been taken that way (back through the gate) it might also explain Willow staying in that area.

Wouldn’t this show on the strava account? The last recorded walk was on 7th November 2022.
The last recorded public walk was 7th November. There has been speculation on here that she had her strava account public because she was doing a charity walk and made it private again in November. If she hadn't pressed finish it wouldn't have uploaded to Strava. Someone (police forensics?) may have seen the app was also running, pressed the finish button and set the post so only her account could view it. Lots of wild speculations there. She may only use her fitbit. I don't even know if it works with teams running. They would know when it hadn't moved from the health and gyrospcope data. JMO

She hadn’t updated since the Tuesday
Some Fitbits aren’t set to update automatically or Bluetooth isn’t working or some such

Yes my Fitbit was terribly glitchy with updating to my phone as well

Fair point.

I wonder why he is searching the river if he really believes that. Why waste your time?
because you need evidence (or lack thereof) to eliminate a possibility

Until something is posted by a journalist or the Police I'd be hesitant about relying on Twitter for anything more than that there is some activity at the location.

JMO.

"We will be making contact with drivers, who we believe were travelling down Garstang Road that morning via letter. If you receive one of these letters and have dashcam footage, we would urge you to make contact using the dedicated email [email protected] so that a member of the enquiry team can make contact and review your footage to establish whether it assists. We would ask that only drivers that do have dashcam footage reply to this request."

Has there been any mention of the brick building on the footpath between the lower field and the river? I thought it was quite small but after watching (

) earlier it appeared quite large at 2:15 into the video. Assuming this is the same building, can anyone clarify?
For a clear photo of the building, click the Blue Dot in Google Maps at 53.86414, -2.81431. It's about 50 metres from the bench. I assume it has been thoroughly searched.
There are several other Blue Dot images of the river and the upper and lower fields.

Was this part of the river they covered today with the search? Obviously don’t know the circumstances, or much yet, but would be interesting to know if it is a person that was in the area searched but not detected. Looks quite far though, so probably not an area they reached today.

Live tide times for the stretch of river located close to current police activity at Shard Bridge.
