GUILTY UK - Nicole Smallman, 27 & Bibaa Henry 46, Archdeacon's daughters, murdered London park, 7 June 2020

  • #221
At 2.30am the phone still rings but the sisters were no longer able to answer.

At some - later - point they must have been switched off and thrown into the pond. So does this mean the killer is still in the park at 2.30am ? Hopefully cctv at the exit might have caught someone.

so sad that it could have been the lights that alerted the stranger to their presence

im beginning to think the picture was a timer because of the angle and the grass - also one of the sisters was a photographer

Pic from link gives a different perspective to the overhead shots of the forensic tents.

These photos are deeply moving on several different levels, seen is the spontaneous joy of two sisters dancing with fairy lights coming to life in the dark, yet we know that unseen - lurks a sinister predator and death. imo.

I just would like to know 100% if the tents are where the two bodies were found. Or if there was significant evidence in one of them for a tent to be placed and if so, what evidence? Or if it's like someone mentioned, a secondary tent for evidence from the first tent; however, you would think they would be closer together if it was just a secondary tent.

Exactly my thoughts....if this was a back up tent....I would set it up next to the other....

Photo of Bibaa and Nicole

What a celebration of live......knowing now how sad everything ended...how wonderful is this picture.

I understood they were really found next to each other....my guess is near or under the tree....somehow that feels like a safer place they would have chosen.....hmmmm

About the second tent, my friend said...maybe it was indeed a backup tent and they put it up on higher ground because of the possibly bad weather....Don't know the weather at the time. don't know if the other tent is on higher ground...

Makes you wonder if police have a Delphi situation where they have more evidence on the phone of the perp

If we're all still here in 3yrs, going around in circles, a small dog having entered the theories, and LE still having no idea who the Perp is, then I think you may have a point

Bibaa and Nicole may have struck up a friendly conversation with their killer and even offered him a drink, according to some of the friends who were with them earlier in the evening and who have now been interviewed by detectives.
Amanda, a neighbour and close friend of Bibaa’s, who was invited to the party but was unable to attend, told MailOnline: ‘Bibaa was very kind and big hearted. ‘She was always thoughtful of other people and often stopped and talked to homeless people and even gave them money.

‘I didn’t know Nicole that well, but she was also a very generous and caring person.

‘I’ve spoken with some of the people that went to the party and they all think that Bibaa and Nicole were the type of women who would not have said no to a stranger if he asked them for a drink or just wanted to join their party for a while.

Just catching up a bit.

Do we know for sure that the pond that the phones were retrieved from was located in the Park? Could it be outside the Park?
If the perp's route to the stated exit doesnt naturally pass a pond, has he really took the time post killing to detour to the Pond? To dispose of items? To clean himself down before leaving the park?
Is it possible that the phones were still pinging and its this that gave a location? Blood trail to pond?

What could the 'litter' be that makes it so much of a focus, to search for in dump? What is it that makes LE thing there is 'Litter' that could be important? How do they know it exists?

Was there A can/bottle/hipflask/flask possibly? The friend saying in the article that it was in nature to have not refused a stranger a drink.......How many crimes have started by ' do you have a drink please 'etc
Writing on paper?

Items of evidence from around the perimeter of park did I read? A 'Significant crime scene' . Obv scattered belongings.

More questions I know, just thinking IMO out loud..

The 'Litter is puzzling.

As is the rucksack. If perp has taken items then why leave rucksack?! How has he carried stuff? Has he rifled through rucksack at the scene, thus distributing 'litter' around the immediate scene that has then been blown around?

If you have a look at the map of the park the pond is on the other side of a main road. Which according to the map means the attacker would have crossed the road to dispose of the phones and then walk back to the valley drive exit. Unless he returned the next day to throw away the phones ?

Haunting final photo of two sisters hours before they were stabbed to death

Just a couple of things I hadn't seen but could have missed --

"Searches of the scene are continuing, but police have found the murder weapon."

"They were repeatedly stabbed by a stranger who stalked them in a city park"

BBM

this article has lots more new information:
The bodies of the two women were found next to each other shortly after 1pm on June 7.
The killer appears to have spent time trying hide his victims in a wooded area.

This answers some of the earlier questions

Also, from Robin’s link above....

Since earlier in the thread it was mentioned that 2 other women reported a man following them in the park, suggesting that they were walking together, might this be a person attacking or trying to attack what he perceives as same-sex couples? If the sisters were alone and dancing together they might have been mistaken for a couple. I know my sister and I hug often and will hold hands or walk arm-in-arm while out together.

MSM reports say it was a pond within the park. According to google info, there are 20 ponds in the park.
I can see a smallish one on the ONS map which lies between Gotfords Hill and the Valley Drive exit. However, that one, to me, does not fit with the police wording of the phones being found in a pond which was some distance away from where Bibaa and Nicole were found.
In early reports there was a photo of police searching the pond, but I cannot find this pic now.

The litter - I would guess it was items such as the fairy lights and possibly a cool box or bag which had been used to carry the food and drink to the park and disposable cups or glasses. All cleared away by the litter picker but needed by the police.
I don't get the feeling that the killer stole anything, I think these items were just left at the spot were the party took place and maybe got knocked around during the attack. The bodies, far as I can work out from latest descriptions, were by the tree line, so the litter picker would not have connected them with the items. And that is if he/she even saw them.
