I’ve never been so glad to not be sitting on a jury in my life. All we can hope is that from the jury’s perspective everything is crystal clear, for their sake as much as for the sake of justice.
We've been presented with a dedicated nurse, well-respected by her colleagues, and then we have this weirdness... But don't we all have a professional side and another side, in which we are confronted by all our psychological issues? What I mean is, we all present certain aspects of ourselves to the world, and hide our insecurities.

Reminds me of a teenager to be honest. All of it. Aside from the subject matter of the babies, it wouldn’t look out of place in a teenagers bedroom. With all of the random scribbling, writing in all the smaller spaces, random trains of thought, repetition, self hate, various names of people who are involved or important to her. To me it screams of either a younger mental age or a younger processing style.

I definitely find the cartoon tree and woodland animals descriptions strange. I’m going to assume it was the previous house owners choice of decor unless told otherwise

Oh well...

Even if she wanted to take the stand, I don't think Defence would allow it.

JMO
Given this case I don't think her taking to the stand has ever been an option. The prosecution would annihilate her up there. That's just my own opinion/view though.

I entirely agree. When I first heard of this back when she was charged, I thought that I'd love to be on the jury for this. That's totally out of the window now, though! I think I'd be a mess if I were on that jury. The biggest issue I think I would have is not being able to discuss it with anyone. It would drive me absolutely mental!

It’s the page with LOVE written in a box at the top left. To the right of “Retrospectively” there’s a group of words written across three lines. The middle line seems to say something like “are needed but”, and the rest of it I cannot even begin to decipher!

Edit: the portion I’m talking about is half way down the page, at the far right hand side.

I found it, and edited my post - oops! Anyway, I feel it's the Craig David song lyric again.

I have to agree - I thought the same thing. I remember writing and scribbling pages like that in high school notebooks where there was literally no space for anything else and different words/phrases/pictures over things I'd jotted down before it.

Maybe Kathryn and Karen were the ones who sat her down and told her she couldn't contact the doctor anymore. Maybe he didn't have the balls to do it himself. That could be why their names are sprawled all over the notes. Total speculation on my part. But I'm still curious what the illegible word is when LL writes "annoyed that Kathryn *advertiser censored* and didn't tell me". On the second yellow notes.
I think it could be 'annoyed that Kathryn is away and didn't tell me. that made everything harder. worse not knowing and she doesn't give a toss otherwise she would have told me or checked in like she usually does especially [...] me going away'

I shredded my teenage diaries for fear of anyone reading them.

Omg so it is! The same lyrics that’s repeated throughout! Can’t believe I missed it, I feel like an idiot haha I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time looking at that section. Facepalm!!

I never kept any but I remember scribbling pages like that in school notebooks. I would likely be mortified to read them now. But when I seen LL notes it reminded me of a teenage way of processing things.

I’m looking at the new notes released thinking potentially under the influence of alcohol, while writing them.

I wish I'd kept mine now. Cute stuff about fancying boys, hating my parents, etc... (not really hating them, but overdramatising stuff, ya know)

Kathryn de Beger appears to be an occupational health and wellbeing manager so it's likely LL was in contact with her at various points following her removal from clinical duties

ETA: As she is named on a note introduced in evidence and shared with the media I assume it's ok to say this, but apologies if not
Is she the woman shown in the pic with LL at whatever event they were at in a big stadium?

I found one of my teenage diaries a few years ago. I'd kept it thinking it would be a literary masterpiece that I would enjoy reading in years to come. I read it again when I found it. I sounded like Vicky Pollard

Hope you never swapped your kid for a Westlife CD!

I can see myself in a TV series - 'Vicky Pollard, the twilight years'.

The notes are so unusual. I mean, why write over the top of other words? There was no paper shortage, unlike when the Brontë sisters were writing, and had to be very economical with their use of paper. I don't think I've ever seen pages being overwritten in this way.
