I still think a verdict could come this week

What a super smart boy he is Dotta !

I've now no idea I predicted a verdict this week..looking back on other cases I followed..Joanne yeates and Libby squire jury took 6 days and were much more straightforward
I didn't realise they both took 6 days!
I don't think they'll be back until the middle of next week now.

  • #684
No I can’t see any mileage in that either Dotta.
I’m going shopping … PROPER shopping with full WiFi.
My nerves have suddenly kicked in.
Shopping - also known as retail therapy!

I know the judge "has to be in the same building" during deliberations. I'm presuming the defence and prosecution have to "in the building" as well?

  • #688
So
After the initial rebuff from the Judge (Summing Up)
the Jury seems to be getting along nicely, not requesting anything any more.

I think they are efficiently progressing from charge to charge feeling good in their own company.

IMO
there is real tight connection among all of them - the result of unprecedented experiences they shared in this Court.

I think all verdicts will be unanimous decisions.

They are a TEAM.

That is my impression :)

I imagine the jury would have spent the first day talking 'casually' about it and their experiences overall. I imagine it wasn't until the following day they got to the meat of the case which must have felt like an overwhelming task to start...where do you even begin?

With the amount of medical jargon and charges it could be a while more as I reckon a majority wouldn't have  really made up their minds during the trial. The pressure is immense but they have done a brilliant job to make it this far and I hope they find clarity in all the papers.
