I thought it was interesting the parents put out a statement via the solicitor regarding interviews etc. Made me wonder if they feel a verdict is imminent. JMO

If you look on their website there is no mention of Letby at all. The solicitor exists but she’s quite junior. There are two big firms representing the parents and neither of them are this firm. It’s odd.

I'm not sure when the victims find out, I always thought they learned things at the exact same time as the defendent. That once the jury are ready, the prosecutor and defence are advised that the judge will be calling the jury back in, in 30 mins.
The absence of two jurors doesn't suggest they are ready.

Can you imagine if she'd put the families and jury through a 9mth trial and then confessed right at the end.... honestly wouldn't surprise me

Wouldn't surprise me either ..to get back control...I can just imagine her confessing and then refusing to go back into court

I don't buy the theory that she might have confessed. It's always been said that the delays this week were issues relating to teo members of the jury.

If there were legal issues I think it would have been mentioned by the judge as the reason for the delays.

It was in response to a thread around the possibility of trial collapse. Agree that an issue with the jurors is most likely the problem.

Hopefully that statement doesn't indicate that the parents and families are being relentlessly persecuted by media trying to line up interviews for when the restrictions are lifted.

Strange that there is so little noise about the trial in the MSM. I still feel they have information we don't that they aren't allowed to print, but are perhaps building up to a huge release once the verdict comes in. {IF the verdict is guilty IMO, if she get off this might never happen?}

Seriously hoping and praying that deliberations can resume on Monday.

But the Judge said that she "was of good character" till being charged.

So if there is any info about her in possession of the Press, it might only be gossip or anecdotal.
