Don’t get it. The situation reads to me that the process of deliberation was suspended by the judge due to juror absence and now the judge has allowed the process to resume.

It does sound very ambiguous. I truly hope we still have 12 jurors.

I don't think it's normal wording. It suggests to me some kind of decision. But I have a feeling they are still 12 because I don't see why they couldn't report a reduction in number.
Maybe that info is still coming once things get underway?

Yeah, I may be over thinking it.

It reads odd to me as well. We haven’t heard from the ladies at court this morning either

Odd or not - the case is proceeding :)

I still think it's gonna go into next week or the one after :/

Maybe ...and only speculation...that one of the two off were the one who had been struggling with health issues and there was some query last week as to whether to discharge the juror if further time off likely...but maybe he has allowed them to continue

I think it might be finished on Friday afternoon. Five more days to plow through the charges.

Maybe not as far along their deliberations as we had hoped, if they are questioning the 2 insulin babies (the 2 strongest cases IMHO).

Wow, so what does this tell us? They are focusing on the 2 insulin cases, specifically a timing question----maybe trying to decide if LL was responsible for those cases or not?

My theory is that they've decided the murder cases already, but are sill discussing the attempted murders. I think they may struggle to get unanimous verdicts on some of those as they have to be sure of intent. Complete speculation on my part though!

I think they might base some of the other verdicts upon these 2 insulin cases. If they are all convinced these 2 cases were malicious actions and that LL was responsible, then some of the other charges are more probable?

Dan O'Donoghue

Court has just reassembled for a juror question. The panel of eight women and four men have asked for clarification on a specific point about the cases of Child F and L, the insulin cases

'Can you please clarify how long it would take for babies' insulin to c-peptide ratio to return to normal after manufactured insulin is stopped', they ask.

Judge James Goss says the answer is there is 'no evidence' on that particular topic

I've never been happier to read a tweet. Confirmation that all of the jury are still in attendance and asking questions! :D

Ouch. Asking for details on the insulin tests.

If there is any disagreement on the insulin cases, the consequences of that for the rest of the charges is huge (in my opinion).

Would be easy to assume the cases Have been reviewed by the jury chronologically but might not be the case. Much has been said about just how important those cases are to the prosecutions case over all And it’s true. The jury may have looked at every other case other than those ones but yeh could also be true that they are doing it chronologically which might mean many more weeks to go.

interesting question from the jury as well. Does that mean they might doubt the evidence points conclusively to insulin poisoning at all?
