I guess it is to make Jurors
(generally speaking)
to pay attention in Court.
To prevent them from relying solely on copies they think might be later provided.

I would be interested to hear any theories on why the jury seemed to spend such little time on baby g. baby G was the 100 day old baby whose 100th day was celebrated on the ward and was unfortunately sabotaged if guilty. She was also given a 5% chance of survival at birth. I can’t quite remember allot of it in whole but wondering if others thought it a strong case.

Anyone think that’s more attention grabbing?

I wouldn't presume anything about the order of their deliberations, without more questions from them to go on.

They could be in agreement over some cases and only deliberating others. Or maybe they've done murder charges first and then going over attempted murder charges, and maybe their question about insulin was to do with baby L, and going in more random order looking at their lists of patterns say.

We don't know how long they have spent on Baby G, do we?
(EDIT Posted at the same time as Tortoise and agree with her comment.)

Yeh fair points all round really. I was just thinking with the talk about baby f the day before it would seem they are going in chronological order. Unless someone can think of a pattern between the relevant cases?

They didn't specify which baby their insulin question was about did they?

I'll dig it out

eta:

During the day, a question rose from the jury, asking for clarification on how long it would take for insulin and insulin c-peptide levels to return to normal in a baby after manufactured insulin is stopped.

The judge replied there had been no evidence heard in respect of that. He said the recordings of the insulin and insulin c-peptide ratio were from blood samples analysed and the results were relayed to the hospital days later, when the babies' blood sugar readings had returned to normal.

I’m nightshift tonight and tomorrow, what’s the bets the jury return a verdict whilst I’m sleeping, having followed the case intently for 9+ months :D

Fairs fair and that’s all very fair. I can totally see them going with the m charges and then the AM Though. I wish we knew more. Is interesting though, the insulin charges seemed to be the most concrete so why look at those later On in the deliberations?
