even with reporting restrictions would there really be no tweets from anyone? I wouldn’t have guessed a blanket ban on reporting. For instance I can’t see why they wouldn’t be allowed to tweet “due to reporting restrictions today no one will be updating” etc
Maybe they have been told to wait until the judge makes an order. Sometimes the press argue in court against reporting restrictions too.

I wouldn’t of though a juror would dare not show up tbh.
Somethings happening.

Message again from the person at court "No one knows anything at the moment"

Things have been so crazy with this trial, it wouldn’t surprise me if a juror has found a hair in their tuna sandwich and it’s put deliberations off for another week.

Right, I’m away to fold up a washing…since I’ve no ironing left to do  :D

The media blackout makes me think the trial has collapsed. Praying that I’m wrong

Not sitting tomorrow until 1pm if no verdict reached today and sitting until 4.30 next week if we go into next week of course.

Now I’m thinking no verdicts until next week at least. They seem really caught up in this, which I get as it’s very, very serious.

That's a bit anticlimactic!

Right I’m storming the court, who’s with me?

After a slight delay this morning, the jury in the trial of nurse Lucy Letby have just been sent out to begin their seventeenth day of deliberations. The seven woman and four man panel have so far been discussing the case at Manchester Crown Court for around 82hours
11:55 AM · Aug 10, 2023
Judge James Goss apologises for the delay, saying he had had to deal with another matter which is now 'all dealt with' and 'nothing to worry about'
11:56 AM · Aug 10, 2023
He informs the jury that, if they do not complete their deliberations today - court will not sit till 1pm tomorrow, as a juror has an important commitment in the morning. He also proposes extending the sitting times to 4.30pm next week (currently finishing at 4pm each day)

The judge apologised I take it back. None too hasty.
