Ah, maybe they're stuck on three of the charges!!

You could have a future with a crystal ball yet, Mystic Purple.
You just know I'm gonna bend over backwards to find a three now! If the verdict comes in at say 1.20pm I'll take that as 1+2+0 = 3 :D

One things is clear as bell. There is ‘reasonable doubt‘ in at least some of the jurors’ minds.

Or they're just working through the cases realllly slowly.

Is it really that slowly? Just under seventy hours, twenty two charges? That's just over three hours per charge so far. That's nothing. Gannon's case, they deliberated for eight hours, and that was one boy, one event, with a defendant who didn't challenge that she did it just said she was insane when she did, not twenty two separate charges of harm, all interconnected, with incredibly specialist knowledge to wade through for twelve, now eleven, people who in all likelihood don't have any medical training. I don't think we're at a point we should be catastrophising, not yet.

17 babies, 17 days of deliberations - one baby per day.

They've designated tomorrow to sign their paperwork, deliver their verdicts and up the road in time for Friday night football. Carlsberg don’t do Fridays…

Sorry, getting ahead of myself :p:D #WishfulThinking

Don't lose heart folks. This took the jury 19 days of deliberations with just 2 cases.

I’ve watched the catching the killer documentary a couple of times now and this series which imo was brilliantly done.

On a lighter note I watched Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey the other night which featured an end-of-life care nurse Jules.

Jules exuded everything a nurse should be - professional, compassionate and altruistic. Polar opposite to how I view LL.

She was born in January 1990, if I recall rightly.

I remember New Year's Eve of 1989 as it crossed into 1990. I was watching a programme on the BBC which was a look back at pop music during the 1980s, the decade then ending. Little did I know that a person was about to be unleashed upon the world with such an extraordinary destiny, as will still be so even if she is acquitted of all the charges.

I think the only thing we know for sure with this crazy case is that we don’t really know.
Today will be mostly sunbathing as the weather is for one day only !
Yes, so the good news for me was I was working without accessible mobile phone from 7.30am to 5,30 pm and missed the stress of the morning's delay. The bad news for me was I was working indoors from 7.30am to 5,30 pm and missed the first warm and sunny day we've had since mid July - and rain is predicted for tomorrow when I'm off!

Hopefully we may get a verdict instead...

Don't worry, I wasn't catastrophising. It was just my way of saying "hey for all we know they could just be taking their time going through each case and could have majority verdicts for each case they've discussed so far". In other words.. we know nothing really about what stage they're at.

I didn't mean the catasrophising remark to sound pointed at you, I'm sorry if it seemed that way. I just meant the thread in general is trending a little 'the sky is falling', which I understand, we're all getting antsy, but there's no reason to assume that things aren't going well in deliberations, from what we know. It's a big case, and with the months and months of trial, they really haven't been out long.

I have it on vinyl gathering dust in attic.

I also have what I think is a funny story about them but maybe that’s not for this forum.

This is how I tried to work out my guess for deliberations. A day or so per baby plus extra time for paperwork!

I really hope the jury come back way before the 80hrs though!
