I really hope that is the case. Personally I think that if the jury were all sure and in agreement that we would have had a verdict by now. I think that there must be at least one who is unsure on many of the charges to justify it taking this long.I am hoping and praying that they are all on the same page now and are efficiently moving through the charges. I just hope they can come to unanimous agreement on all of the murder charges and if they cannot do so on all of the ATs, so be it.
Ok so some of the attempted murder charges are not clear cut and rely on them fitting established patterns. However
judging by the questions the jury asked then they took 6 deliberation days to get to F, and there is only one attempted murder charge (B) in that group. A,C,D and E were all murders and are some of the strongest cases. So why take that long?
I'm worried that the jury don't seem to have records of all the evidence presented over the trial. They asked for the judge's summing up of the case and copies of agreed statements for H and yet were told no. This shouldn't be a memory test, they should have transcripts of all the evidence presented at trial to look back on. Otherwise how on earth can they come to a decision?
