"Brain dump" or "mind dump" is a psychological technique used, among other things, to reduce stress and anxiety. It is free-associating, so this is what I thought of when I saw these notes.

Brain Dump---summary
"A brain dump is a mental decluttering tool. It refers to emptying your mind and writing down or typing up all those thoughts floating around in your head."

There are no rules with brain dumping; you just let your thoughts flow naturally, jotting down everything that comes to mind.

You are jotting down 'your thoughts', so her thoughts were " I AM EVIL, I DID THIS ON PURPOSE..."
In general, many therapists encourage journaling but having read how it had been misinterpreted in some court cases, I am concerned about this way of unloading stress.

Here is an example. Not only a grieving mother with a genetic mutation and two of kids inheriting it had to spend 20 years behind bars based on her diary. All these cases negatively affect our knowledge, in this case, about SIDS.

Comparing Letby's case to the above case seems odd to me---Very little comparison.

In above case:

"No direct evidence of the alleged crimes was ever found,
but in the personal diary discovered by her husband and handed over to the police, several entries seemed to suggest she might have harmed, and indeed murdered, her children."

It's very different from Letby.
In Letby case, there was direct evidence found.
And the diary entries DID LITERALLY SUGGEST she did the crimes.

So I don't think the Folbigg case is a good comparison to support your premise. IMO

Could be worse, could have been a private diary entry saying "was Me what done it".

And the
What a garbage article. https://www.thesun.ie/news/15700985/lucy-letby-raised-alarm-about-care-of-babies/

"However, new bombshell documents allegedly reveal she had formally highlighted apparent failures of care in the neonatal unit shortly before she was removed from her duties."

All of a sudden. After a long time of being suspected. More like a desperate attempt to deflect negative attention.
And they can't even get a simple fact in the very first line correct🤦‍♂️

The nurse was last year convicted of murdering seven infants and attempting to murder seven more at Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.

2023, not last year!

I've only skimmed over that article as it just comes over as total rubbish, tbh. However, it appears that if what they say MM is saying is correct then he's walking a very, very narrow rope; he appears to be making very serious defamatory allegations against doctors here.

Once again I'll ask, what on earth is his motivation for pursuing exoneration challenges for people who are very clearly guilty of the things they were convicted of - especially Letby? Where is his benefit in it? He can't be getting paid a huge amount, I wouldn't have thought. So just what is his motivation?

"He has sensationally claimed senior medics targeted his client in revenge for her whistleblowing."

So, a massive conspiracy involving doctors, the police, the CPS and the law courts was somehow concocted because a nurse filed a small number of Datix reports.... Ronald McDonald strikes again!
I don't know what he thinks Ben Myers KC spent days arguing vociferously in her defence. The jury didn't buy it the first time. 🤡

To be fair I might respect the man for fighting against overwhelming odds as tasked but there is fighting a just battle and also simply hissing into the wind in vain.

If it were me up on a serious charge I know exactly which one of those two I'd be contacting to exonerate me......more to the point, which one I wouldn't be!

What else has he got except his death row mates over in the US and the no hopers here in the UK ?
He MUST be doing other stuff surely or how is he paying his mortgage …. but what a weird practice he has.

His weird and varied route to the Bar seems to dictate what he takes on in his professional life.

All very strange.

This is getting tedious …. Hall wasn’t called because Letby who’s ultimate choice it was didn’t want him in the box.
LIKELY on the advice of her Counsel - that’s how it works.

JMO.

He makes some interesting comments...insinuating that because he couldn't say the prosecution cases were wrong on some cases they chose not to put him on the stand.. they couldn't risk one conviction that would then allow the jury to link that conviction to others.
He also says what most people know ...that in his opinion McDonald is trying to get as much publicity as possible to force the CCRC to hand the case to the court of Appeal...but it's counterproductive because once the expert panels medical evidence is tested in court it's likely to fall flat.
He also says there were other medical experts employed by the defence team but there were no major differences from prosecution opinions to argue so were not used.
I find it interesting that they do not discuss the insulin cases.

Cheers Jj. That really does sound interesting. 👌. I'm speculating here and I've said it before but I might draw a link between the defences original lack of defence and now mm and the current lack of a solid reason for appeal. Its quite simply there is no solid ground for a defence despite the noise. Damning imo. Looking forward to hearing it.

Sounds interesting.

This “ appeal “ has been nothing but lies and bluster since the very beginning, in the absence of facts that’s all they have.
