I think it all got a bit confused and some of the reports were that she had a boyfriend or that Doc Choc was.

Personally, I don't think so. I don't think she had a boyfriend and I also think that there likely wasn't anything sexual going on between them.

My opinion is that she has some issues around physical intimacy. I doubt she's ever had a boyfriend.

Just to add to the above, I still think there's a lot that the police/CPS know about her that hasn't come out yet due there still being an ongoing investigation of her. If there is more to come out then we aren't going to hear it for some time. At least a couple of years, I think, if new charges are brought.

Just another 24 days to go until the "she'll be out before Christmas" brigade are disappointed...

Have we heard anything from McD's merry band of experts since the press conference?

No but Dr Lee has been active on the academic side of things. I can't quite remember what but will do some digging.

Maybe others have heard of goings on?

Just had a thought. If she's getting positive fan mail why don't we send her a letter asking her to explain herself. We can include the words "don't deny it". Just not anything abusive 😞

Shall we? And if you would like your presence included reply with how you would like to be known. We might even get away with names like amelia dyer.

Her friend Dawn has apparently filmed a YT video recently again proclaiming her mates innocence 😬
I can’t link it but it’s easily found.

I sympathise with Dawn. She does come across as just so normal, if there really was never any weirdness from LL then yeh she will struggle to believe. She did say she didn't follow the trial as well and just heard on the radio of the big G.

Can't seem to find that anywhere. Just seems to be the videos of her from when LL was convicted.

She's deluded. She said in a documentary after the trial that she would never believe that Letby had done anything wrong. Whatever the evidence. She said she would only believe it if Letby told her. She can't accept that she has had the wool pulled over her eyes because it would make her whole relationship with Letby a lie. Shes been manipulated like many others. it's easier to disregard everything and decide Letby is innocent. She's living in denial.

i used to feel the same, but now I'm not so sure. She comes across as a,bit arrogant IMO. And why would she not follow the trial? And why did Letby not want anyone from Hereford to attend? It all seems a bit odd to me.

She filmed that 3 months before the verdict.

Edit: 4 months. She says it was filmed in the April.

If you look under nineteen nurses on YT it’s there.

It’s not the old BBC one it’s recent.

I would urge you to watch her recent talk on YouTube. It’s on the 19 nurses channel. She did follow the trial, and at the point she filmed with the BBC she felt certain that Letby was not guilty. She filmed it fully believing that by the time it aired, a not guilty verdict would have been delivered.

It’s obvious why Letby didn’t want anyone to attend. If you were going to court accused of the worst crimes known to man, you would absolutely make sure your nearest and dearest stayed hidden from the media and hidden from any association with it. You would plead with people to stay away from the court. Especially people with children who you’re close to.

What would be odd, would be to tell your friends to come along for the ride. But this is yet another example of something, innocent on the face of it, being twisted to look bad because it’s Letby.

The entire case is full of it.

I think it's very individual. Some would ask people to stay away, others would be very anxious to have people like family and friends in the gallery to show support. It's more about the emotional character of a person on trial than an indication of guilt or innocence.

What is more indicative is someone's words and actions, which is what she was convicted on, not on whether she had people in court supporting her or not.
