The victim is presumed murdered in her room at the rooming house. The condition of the crime scene was reported as an abattoir (slaughterhouse). However, that does not mean the victim was necessarily dismembered with chair shaw in that room.

So is there a possibility that he is a taxi driver?? It's all very strange
Wasn't he just demoted/promoted to handyman or jack-of-all trades in one or two news stories?

Maybe I'm a bit naive, but I can't imagine a female using a saw to dismember a body (or anyone for that matter!), seems more like a male thing to do (hope that's not being sexist!).
Would a female have the strength to do it? Physically?

It’s unlikely but not unheard of, there was a case of the Mulhall sisters who murdered then dismembered their mums partner, however there was two of them.

Do we know if it was a hand held saw or attached to a work bench? I wouldn't even be able to hold a running handheld saw.

The interesting thing in this case is that she has been deemed fit for trial, you would imagine someone who was capable of doing such horrific things would be suffering from some sort of mental illness and be detained under the Mental Health Act

The more I've read into this, the more I'm reminded of Dexter TV show (minus the plastic wrapped rooms and lack of blood). That poor, poor woman. May she rest in peace. I'm beyond horrified.

My immediate thought was London on the Thames, but a local could probably correct me on that. Looks like she is sitting on DD bus or a boat. Moo.

Possibly Westminster Bridge and St Thomas's hospital behind her (meaning Big Ben is to the right of the pic)

Phoenix Johanna Netts was born in Croydon in 1991, just for info.

Will ask mods to add her name to the title.

I'm a woman with 3 daughters and I have handled more power tools in my time than a lot of men. And my one daughter nearly made the hotpoint man faint when she lifted down the tumble dryer off the top of the washer - he'd said he'd have to come back to fix the washer as it would need two men to lift ... and she's 5'4" and weighs 7stone.

In this case, you never know what you're capable of until you have to do it.

I don't think (at this point, with what we know so far) that Mahesh was involved with the murder, the dismemberment or knowingly providing a saw or knowingly transporting the remains.

I've used many taxis, not one has questioned me on my bag contents. One time my cat sharted in her carrier and driver said not one word ... just wound down his window.

In the Becky Watts case, the friends had reason to be suspicious, their mate was asking to hide boxes during his Step sisters missing person investigation!

You THINK you'd know, you THINK you'd smell it and instantly know it was a dead body, you THINK you'd instantly question your passenger on their suitcase contents but ... you never know!

Edited to add ... I'm not even condemning Gareeca YET.

2 vulnerable, volatile women, accustomed to extreme violence, in a refuge ... this could've been self defense and panicked cover up. It could be anything ... I'm looking forward to hearing the full story.

If it happened in her bed sit I do not think there would be a work bench.

I agree.
Unless one had used a circular saw before I imagine it would be a very unusual method for a woman to use.

Following this thread, this happend in my city, too close to home. It just shows that woman can be just as dangerous and wicked as men. RIP Phoenix.

In one of the above links it was reported she was halved vertically, so a table saw possibly.

I am curious, what is the reaction among residents of your city?

Thanks, that's what I was thinking of, a table saw.
