So, here we have three different versions of what happened to the bags once everyone got to 9BC...

1) NM left them in the kitchen of 9BC then walked back to CML.

2) NM (et al) placed them in the garden shed at 9BC.

3) JI "passed them into the kitchen" and has no idea what happened to the bags after that.

Where is the truth...in any of this mess?

Those quotes are not three different versions. 2) relates to NM taking the rucksack round the next day. 1) & 3) are not contradictory.

From the quotes, JI didn't put them in the shed and neither did NM.

Sometime between the boxes being dumped in the kitchen by JI/NM/KD and NM taking the rucksack round the next day, the "body part" box and bags got moved to the shed. I don't think we know for sure who moved them or when.

Isn't point 2 referring to the rucksack the following day?

Am I imagining things or way back in the early days after arrest wasn't it said that JP asked KD to move the items from the house to the shed?

Off of topicc, but sadly perhaps very much in the topic - What a bunch of good for nothing citizens these all are!

Spongers who live at tax payers expenses... young people not working or working and being payed doing nothing (like JI)... These young women/men being at home and having their premises like pigpens... not even cooking decent meals... living on junk food...being parents...

What does this kind of people has to offer as behaviour, morals, education and civility to their children and to society?!

Ohhh I use to be optimistic but i can't see a good end for our humankind in the future with societies led by the descendants of all this scum!

They all want to be entitled to everything, but what is their contribut for it?

Where's the balance betweeen rights and duties?!
But where were THEIR parents to TEACH them? You just don't grow up with morals and respect, you learn it from the example you're given by the people raising you.

These people, especially Shauna in my opinion, have been failed repeatedly.

That's not to say that you can't have a rubbish upbringing and still turn out okay or be a great parent after having rubbish ones yourself BUT you have to have had that good example from somewhere!

My upbringing wasn't great, no affection or praise or positivity, never told I was loved etc BUT for my own children- they couldn't be more loved with discipline and positive praise - I didn't get that example from my parents but from seeing my older sister with her children and in turn, she got her good example from elsewhere (long story) ...

I'd also like for this not to turn into a benefits bashing conversation. It implies to some that anyone in need of benefits is like these people and that's just not true.

So no mention of arguing couple? No mention of the "good looking woman"? No mention of having a smoke with NM?

Can't recall who but someone made a remark along lines of 'hope he didn't wake Shauna getting the stun gun torch from the bedroom' ... I think I've read somewhere that one was upstairs in bedroom but the other was downstairs?

No, in point two NM clearly states he took the body, the saw and other bags over to 9BC, and placed the items in the shed. He states that he did this with two other men.

This contradicts both point one (NM putting the bags in the kitchen) and three (JI putting the bags in the kitchen).

I guess the real point here is that NO ONE is telling the whole truth here.

Here is point two in it's entirety from NM's statement:

My memory of the days that followed is not perfect so I'm not sure which day I returned to 14 Cotton Mill Lane having left Shauna at my mother's but I think it was the Saturday.

When I got back to 14 Cotton Mill Lane I tried to dispose of the body by cutting it up with a circular saw. Initially I wrapped up the body parts and took them back downstairs and hid them, I'm not sure how many days later, but on another day I took the body, the saw, and other items to 9 Barton Court, Barton Hill, and placed them in the garden shed.

I took them to this address with two other people. I did not tell them what was in the bags and the box, and said I would collect them in a few days. Both of the people are men but I do not want to name them.

I think the mystery of the cigarette got answered. JI was having a smoke at Barton Court after unloading the box/bags into the kitchen.

We then took the bags and the box out of the van and took it into 9 Barton Court
...
Ireland said the box had clothing on top, and he never looked underneath to see what else was in the box.
He added he didn’t unzip the suitcases and had no reason to do so, as he passed them into the kitchen.
He said he stayed in the kitchen to smoke a cigarette, while Matthews and Demetrius went into the living room.
The court heard Ireland and Demetrius left soon after, going straight back to work.

This is not about what you would like or not.

This is a crime discussion, I posted my thoughts on these beings and I think I am allowed to it.

The only person here who wrote 'benefits' and 'bashing conversation' in the same sentence was you.

I simply referred what I was thinking about these persons I named and anyone else.

In one version, NM states that he left all the suitcases & bags in KD & CP's kitchen.

In his full confession, NM states he moved (obvi with help) the suitcases & bags into the shed.

In JI's testimony today, JI implies he has no idea what happened to the items after he helped moved them into KD & JP's kitchen.

I think imp to know who moved the items into the shed with perhaps, NM overseeing it all.

KD and DD? Or KD and JI? Or both bros & JI (all 3) with NM overseeing (or not).

IF the bros or even KD left JI out of that part, I'd find that interesting...

I think this is a good summary - can well believe he did touch the packages and also I believe he did know he was going to get paid, well, for this transfer.

I mean, logically, why would JI think that two of KDs pals would need a lift from Southmead to CML, for which JI would get paid £10, when the couple involved could get themselves a taxi for the same or less probably ?

Exactly...... My Son does 'lifts' usually at weekends. It usually puts a few £ into his petrol tank. As it's people he knows needing door to door service. But JI I feel was duped. For easy money.. For less than an hours work..... what's the saying. If something is too good to be true. Then it probably is..

I have some thoughts on all this, which I will gather together in my head and post in a sec, just wanted to correct misinformation posted by some court tweeters about the cross-examination of JI this afternoon - It is Andrew Langdon QC cross-examining him at the moment - Hoare's barrister. Prosecution haven't started on him yet - which could explain why he hasn't been questioned about his friend's testimony that he told him he heard NM & SH arguing.

Court back - Andrew Langdon QC begins cross examination of Ireland

IF JI did not help with the "work" in the transferring of items from the attic to the downstairs area of the home, perhaps, he was not asked to help in movement of items from KD & JP's "kitchen" to the shed...I really don't know

Perhaps, bros wanted to more or less divide the chunk of the $ between themselves...give JI more than gas money, but certainly not half...will have to wait as trial continues, I suppose

Also, still poss that KD and JI helped moved to shed (JI not telling truth), but without any help from DD

Let's not forget about JP. She was somewhere in 9BC that night (or next day), too.

Does anyone have any links with detail about NM and SH lying about going to job interviews rather than police interviews? It was mentioned yesterday in court they lied to relatives, I would love to know was this to SH's mum or AG or perhaps both and other family members as well. Assume they must have ditched the kid with one of them when they were going for the interview.

Just managed to catch up - I was otherwise occupied most of yesterday, and then my laptop crashed. I can't follow this sort of thing on little screens, too fiddly. Back in action now though!

LOL I thought that was a King Charles spaniel in the middle.
