Yes to leave no trace whatsoever is what is really making me question the whole dismemberment in the bathroom.
If there is no evidence to support the theory that Becky was in there (aside from NMs say so) how do we know she actually was??

Is it possible that NM is saying it was the bathroom simply because then it would be believable that one person could do the dismemberment on their own ?
Whereas if he told us the real location where he did it, it would be obvious that two people were required ?
For instance, if the loft was the place used, then no way would he have got the body up there on his own.
I dont btw believe the above, I do think the bathroom was used. The expert said it was strange not to find anything but it still could have been done there and all traces cleared away.
If I remember correctly, in the case of April Jones, the forensics were into Bridgers cottage two days later. In this case the forensic search was 9 - 10 days later. A lot of cleaning can be done in that time.
