that is NMs grandparents home

Another base for NM, or his "official" home... either way I hope they throughly checked there because if it was that Grandma who was taking NMs mother to the hospital that day, presumably that means Grandma's house could have been empty at the time Becky died.

I must admit, I have been basing my assumptions of SH being totally involved in all of it from the video interviews showing her obvious (sorry!) hatred of Becky, as well as circumstantial evidence - her locations at the time of all of these events (being in the house when Becky was killed, going shopping with NM for supplies, living in the house with the body, and being at the house when the men came round re transporting the body parts. And of course the text messages re kidnapping of girls. I do agree with what you are saying - that the average person may not think as in depth as those with an interest/knowledge of crime and forensics - so some things may not have stood out at the time.

That said, IF she was totally innocent, then she must have been extremely gullible, unquestioning and totally wrapped up in her own world .... or perhaps suspected what had happened, but hated Becky so much that she was happy to keep quiet and just bury her head in the sand.

Is it really possible for ALL of the following things to have happened though, and not one single one of them cause alarm bells to her?

* NM parks his car a different way to usual - saying he was going to wash the car, but never did. (It was raining that day)

* Becky goes missing and they were the last people to see her - remember that SH didn't actually witness Becky leave the house.

* SH doesn't hear a struggle, which appears to have occurred across at least 2 rooms, and ended with the death of a person.

* Becky goes missing and suddenly SH is barred from going into her bathroom for goodness knows how many days.

* SH doesn't hear the sound of electric sawing in the middle of the night .... or hears it but isn't suspicious.

* NM develops a sudden interest in deep cleaning one room of their filthy house.

* A number of items of clothing, bath mats and the shower curtain go missing from her home.

* NM needs a bunch of blokes to move some suspicious packages from their house (bearing in mind, nobody has been to the house to deliver stolen goods or drugs, and he hasn't apparently been anywhere to collect them).

Okay, I can almost believe one or two of these events might pass without notice/interest, but ALL of them? Really? I'd say at best she knew what had happened, but did nothing about it because it suited her that Becky was no longer around.

She certainly played a part when the police wanted to come round to search their house and she suddenly developed a need to visit her estranged family for the first time in years. I don't believe that was pure coincidence.

Good points about the shower curtain and bath mats being missing from her bathroom, there's no way she wouldn't notice that.

The saw, he seems to now being saying he used after he dropped her off at one of their parents houses. I wonder if CCTV can back that up.

I agree, too many things for her to have not noticed, also the lack of surprise when she's arrested in connection with Becky's diappearance. She doesn't say anything like "WTF? You've got this wrong" she just accepts it and has tears in her eyes, and when asked if Becky is safe she says she doesn't know. NM was arrested with her and she would also have witnessed him saying "no comment" four times when the arresting officer asked him about Becky. Surely you'd be shocked that your boyfriend is answering like that and be questioning (maybe outloud) why.

I hope she takes the stand so she can be cross examined. I doubt she will.

Nathan Matthews was playing a video game and his partner Shauna Hoare was cooking eggs when police arrived to arrest them over the disappearance of the Bristol teenager Becky Watts, a court has heard.
Matthews was asked four times by the arresting officer if he could say where his stepsister Becky was or if she was safe but each time he replied simply: “No comment.”
Hoare had tears in her eyes as she was arrested and when she was asked if Becky was safe, answered “I don’t know”, Bristol crown court heard.

Yes, maybe to come up with a story to fit the evidence rather than the truth. And immediately trying to explain away SH's DNA.

Do you thinks thats a typo and they mean Becky's nails not SH? Why would they be examining under SH's nails days later?

I don't think so, as they seem to be discussing it in relation to DNA transfer; I think the defence are making the point that if NM's DNA was found under SH's fingernails then it's also possible her own DNA was transferred to the items in some way. Also, we'd probably have heard more about it if NM's DNA had been found under BW's fingernails.

I'm not sure why they'd be examining under SH's fingernails - perhaps in case there was DNA from disposal of Becky's body?

The court has previously heard DD didn't turn up at work on March 2 - pros allege it's because he had heard about murder arrests #beckywatts

Blood found upstairs in CML? Do they mean Crown Hill?

Given that that was in response to a question from NM re what had they found in CML, I don't think it's a mistake

NM is sobbing so much in vid.

I wonder, is it remorse for killing Becky? Is it because he's been caught and faces many years behind bars? Is it because he will be separated from his love who he couldn't be apart from for even a few hours? NM feared they would be separated, his paranoia, jealousy, greed, insane control/abandonment issues and violent tendencies has turned out to be a self fulfilling prophecy.

Perhaps they mean NM's blood on the scouring pad (presumably the one in the bath).

Have to add I regularly delete all my texts and emails too, otherwise I dont have enough memory to take photos. So that in itself doesn't seem suspicious to me.
