Yes she's been described by others as shy but I agree with mrazda71 that every teenager has their stroppy moments, it's just part of being a teenager and if she did have that struggle with anorexia I can see why her dad and step mother may have been soft on her and spolit her a bit... and also why NM who spent most of his life being brought up by his grandmother could be jealous of that.

Yeah I understand teenagers are stroppy and I don't think Becky was a perfect angel. No one ever is. However, NM and SH's interviews seemed to focus entirely on Becky's alleged bad points. I was just making the point that I'd struggle to believe them and form an opinion on her character since at least one of them was probably trying to justify killing her and it would appear their hatred towards her had manifested for years.

Why would Becky run off in a tantrum when her dad wasn't even there? SH and NM were in the house, so did Becky run off in a tantrum after a spat with them? If I were interviewer, that's the impression I would get. Was SH trying to imply Becky ran off and hurt herself?

I agree their opinion would be biased but even with what they were saying , the description just made me think of a typical teenager and that they were over reacting to normal teenage behaviour.

We've heard from at least one witness that Shauna and Becky got on okay, well even ...

this article gives the time the purchase was made

Kelly Lee, who works for the DIY chain B&Q in Bristol, told Bristol Crown Court , how a man bought the saw, along with a face mask, gloves and goggles.

She told the court how he came in at 12.51pm on February 20 and she remembered him because he had queried the price of a circular saw he was purchasing.

I agree! We were all teenagers once, tantrums go with the territory. But Becky had a night out, she was chilling at home, texting her bf, saying she loved him. Why run off in a tantrum?

NM and SH can't be believed, NM owed Becky money, she was 16 and he is 28! A wonderful sister if you asked me.

SH would have known about the fb message by Becky's dad that she was on her period and for ladies to check their men's clothing. SH wanted to distance herself from the fact something horrible happened in that home while she and NM were there. JMO

Good find, so timeline is

Friday 20th Feb
12.20 Matthews buys two bottles of drain cleaner
12.50 NM buys saw
2.18 SH texts that memory cards and PS4 stickers have arrived
3.10 Hoare texts Matthews: 'What time do you finish work LOL? Hugs and kisses'.

We need to know where those memory cards were delivered to find out where SH was when she texted him that. Though presumably police could see from her phone records.

If she is at home then we've possibly got him going out to buy the saw while she's at home then coming back, both going to his mothers before he disappears somewhere to do some "work" in response to an imaginary text from a friend.

Whereas their story appears to be they both went to NMs mothers then he disappeared for 3 hours after a friend texted.

We've heard from at least one witness that Shauna and Becky got on okay, well even ...

I know, which contradicts SH's disdain for Becky in the interviews IMO.

Just pondering, the Ps4 memory card that was delivered, there must be a record of where it was delivered to and this where SH was to recieve it.

Well, obviously (sorry!) we now know that wasn't the case, but nowadays with texts and emails and Facebook etc, people can have a row or get upset any time, out of the blue. It's a different world from when I was a teenager chilling in my room, I only had a record player :o

<snip> Whereas their story appears to be they both went to NMs mothers then he disappeared for 3 hours after a friend texted.

Apart from the fact that she says he left her at Crown Hill on Fri 20th and he says it was on Sat 21st, although he did say he wasn't sure of the day.

Apparently PS4s dont have memory cards so the stickers were PS4 but the memory cards could just be normal memory cards for phones/cameras.

But yes , I think its important to know where they were delivered because if they were delivered to SH's home it places her at home after his shopping spree, which would mean him leaving to buy the saw and drain cleaner didn't happen while they were at NMs mother's house. It happened before they went there. So his 3 hour absense was doing something else.

Yet I think at this point he's claiming he'd moved Becky's body in a bag into the house the previous night (19th)when SH was asleep, along with a bag containing duvet, clothes etc. and that he didn't move it into the bath till later that night (20th)once SH was asleep.

Shauna Hoare told police that the couple had returned to Crown Hill the day after Becky was killed.

But around 12pm, on February 20, Hoare said Matthews told her - out of the blue - that he had received a phone call from a friend asking him to come over and help.

Almost immediately after Matthews then left, telling his girlfriend it was better if she stayed at the address with his mum Anjie.
....
He was gone from 12 until 4pm, he had gone out with the car and I don't know what he was going.

3.10pm - SH texts NM: 'What time do you finish work LOL? Hugs and kisses'.

I want to know what the LOL refers to. It reads to me like she is making a joke of the word "work" - like referring to what he is doing at that time as 'work' as if its funny (to them) what he is doing. 'what time will you be finished your work of cleaning up and getting rid of the body?' or 'what time will you be back from buying the things we need to deal with Becky?' - as if it is their 'work' or 'job'.

I mean, why write LOL when asking a simple sentence that isn't funny or relating to anything funny. I've seen people use LOL to mean 'lots of love' but she adds that kind of greeting at the end, so can't be that.

Shauna doesn't necessarily have to have been at home.

With most delivery services now, you get tracking info so she could've been anywhere in the world and had a text/email/looked at tracking info which told her that he's items had been delivered.

I once got a text from my mother-in-law saying "just letting you know grandmas had another stroke, doesn't look like she'll make it through this time, lol "

Excellent find. So he's gone from 12-4 but at 2.18 SH texts about the memory cards arriving. Strange. I hope Beckys dad and step other can remember the times, or CCTV's available.

Also if hes finished his shopping at 12.51 theres a missing 3 hours till he returns at 4. That would be the ideal time to use the saw yet going by his story Becky's body is just left in the bag in his house till later that night when he moves it to the bath. Also he hasn't bought all the rubble bags and cling film "packaging" at that point. I hope they can track his phone from 1pm to 3pm that day.
