The going out to buy £40s worth of cleaning products with NM including clingfilm then then going back to buy more the next day along with a sponge, is going to be hard to explain if the flat looked no cleaner or tidier than before they bought the first lot.

Ah on a laptop, rather than either of their phones. Interesting. And a handover the mouth which is what they suspect happened to Becky. Maybe they didn't realise that could kill her as it hadn't killed the girl in the film.

ETA just noticed the teen was raped in her own home too.

I agree. If I was on the jury, having heard what we have so far, despite not believing very much of her story, I couldn't find her guilty without reasonable doubt.

The reasonable doubt would arise from lack of physical evidence, and not me doubting that she was completely oblivious to one or all of the events that she was present at. She was present at the the time of the murder, was present in the car that contained the body, was present at the house where the body was kept for 3 days, was present at the purchase of the cleaning products and present when people became involved in storing the body parts. It just seems completely unbelievable that she didn't notice something, or smell something, or suspect something. But, that doesn't prove anything, so it would have to be a not guilty verdict from me for the murder charge.

Shame England doesn't have the "not proven" verdict - that might be more fitting in this case.

If she has I don't think we've heard it. In her 2nd voluntary interview, a female police officer specifically asks her that question - she doesn't answer and goes on to describe where they were from 23rd onwards

Did I hear incorrectly or does the police officer mistakenly call her becky at the end? Shocking if so.

She doesn't look as physically well presented as before but that could be down to being held in custody.

Her reaction and tears seem more of sadness and resignation and how could he do this to "us" than shock or horror at what she's found out happened. IMHO

I remember that too. Two whole days, having just bought a whole heap of cleaning products, with no explanation as to what you did with yourself and with the house clearly not having had any cleaning done in it.... pretty hard to wiggle out of.

The prosecutions case seems quite weak to me, I had hoped there would be more, not sure what I was expecting but I seem to have so many unanswered questions.

With what we have heard I'm surprised the CPS allowed a charge of joint murder for her. It doesn't seem a very strong case - though there was her DNA on a mask?
