Do you accept 5 allegations? If throwing things counts as violence there's more but if pushing then it could be less,it could be more.

[h=3]'I never threatened Becky' - Matthews[/h]The jury heard Matthews broke his hand when he punched the wall while leaving a doctor’s surgery.
A friend of Becky’s claimed Matthews talked about “ripping out someone’s toenails.”
But the Chinese takeaway deliveryman said he was not serious.
Matthews told the trial: “It was a joke - it was toilet humour.”
Matthews denied he ever made threats to Becky that he was going to kill her.
He said: “I never threatened Becky. I know I definitely didn’t threaten to kill her but I don’t know what I might have said that she took the wrong way.”

I have a chemical imbalance in my brain or nerves which are sending the wrong signals to my brain. I feel a hot burning pain which stops you doing simple tasks.”
Asked if he was a hoarder, Matthews said: “Yes, it happened after I met Shauna. That’s when it got really bad. I don’t like waste. If I see someone throwing away a chest of drawers I will fix it.
“They call it junk, I don’t. A couple of car seats or baby items which can be cleaned up and sold on. It’s all stuff I can use.
“There was some stuff I did collect which I wasn’t able to fix so I chucked it away. I am able to chuck stuff away.”

If Anji never went to his home with Shauna then the state of his home is not significant.

True, but still just a little hypocritical, especially since they had a toddler living in their house, hardly the safest environment for a little person learning to walk!

I've always wondered what their connection was.

Regarding all the junk in AG's house I always assumed that NM brought that stuff into the house. If this is the case he can't say anything about BW leaving stuff lying about.

It sounded like he was a bit niggled by SH's description of him being violent and trying to strangle her.

I got that impression too, was not best pleased.

This is purely a hypothetical, as I have no idea about the dynamics of Becky's household. But it is said she was disrespectful to her stepmother. We heard how she had arguments with her.

Now looking at the state of that house, the junk everywhere - especially the garden and conservatory which would have been visible to neighbours - Becky could well have been embarrassed by it, and perhaps felt unable to have friends round due to them seeing how her family lived.

NM is Anjie's son, and he is clearly a hoarder. Its not beyond common sense to assume that he got that from his mum, is it? So, could these arguments directed at Anjie been because of what she bought to the house? I mean, was the clutter due to Anjie, or was she storing clutter for NM? The fact that Becky's bedroom was ordered and pretty tidy (despite the struggle that had taken place in there) shows me that she had respect for her private space and clearly didn't live surrounded by clutter out of choice.

I can absolutely see why Becky would have been 'disrespectful', as that house is not suitable for bringing up a child in and must have been pretty stressful to live in, for all of them.

She probably wasn't that impressed with the long visits from the 'carers' who appear to have done little in the form of housework or caring either!

Is the word neck missing from the end of that tweet? Is he saying he did grab SH but didnt squeeze her neck or is he saying he did grab her neck but didn't squeeze it?

Not to mention SH being pregnant -

Its a bit cluttered in places but not sure Becky would feel embarrassed by it or not have friends round.

Just curious - what led you to the assumption that the clutter in Crown Hill was due to NM?

With the box room and conservatory piled to the ceiling, the garden looking like a junk yard, the roof terrace death trap and the living room/kitchen needed a big tidy up, I wouldn't have had friends round at that age ........... but maybe I'm a snob!
