He states that he brought the red suitcase with him to place her in.

What is this "black bag" that he places her laptop, comforter, clothes etc in?

Did he bring that with him, too? Is it a suitcase? If a bag, has to be fairly large to fit comforter, shoes, her coat, etc

Did he get that from another room in the house?

Ah so he didn't buy it to pretend the drain/toilet was blocked so he could keep SH out of the bathroom then.

Alexander Pacteau tried something similar with Karen Buckley's body... it didn't work then either!

Sorry I shouldn't laugh but... it's like he's taken the best bits of a "crimes gone wrong" programme and attempted them himself

Yes very plausible isn't it ( not ). Kills Becky then decides to take off the handcuffs and pop them into the bag ...........

Never heard of that one in the school ground but, I have heard of auto asphyxiation!

There is a technique where if the carotid artery (just below the ear) is pressed a person will pass out, but pressing too long and a person's heart stops . Is that the same thing?

My guess would be that it was a bag owned by Becky, that he used to make it look like she had gone off on her own.

Notice how he doesn't elaborate on how he did it. He's very detailed in every other aspect of the crime...

Idk...May depend on what the "technique" learned in school is

I remember this from school. I'm 30 this month but close to NM's age. Ppl used to stand against a flat surface I.e. A wall. Someone would place their hands over the side of the neck, in a criss cross fashion just under the ear to surpass the airway enough for them to kind of pass out but not enough to kill someone, a bit like making them faint. So stupid thinking back..

I collected the items I had used, put them and Rebecca into the bag and zipped up the bag. I also took her phone, tablet and laptop together with shoes, some clothes and a duvet cover from the spare room in a separate bag.

No in fact didn't he originally say that he took his kidnap kit in a bag - now it's a suitcase. I can't imagine anyone would every call a suitcase a bag...
