Just thinking about Walsh's diary.
We have not heard any evidence of this, but I do wonder if there are any entries from after the murder ?
Remembering how excited she was at just the thought of being involved in a murder, I would think she might want to add some notes afterwards, noting how well everything had gone.

Perhaps, if she did, then these are the pages that were torn out.

I think that's what she's referring to when she says SW said if I don't write it down it didn't happen.

I do tend to think it was her that contacted her ex Kevin and not SW. Something just tells me that he agreed to say that to help her.

Court breaks for lunch. Sarah Williams, 34, Treborth Road, Blacon and Katrina Walsh, 56, Guilden Sutton both deny murdering Sadie Hartley

Something that I'm puzzling over. What do you think?

If the jury convicts them both of murder, and SW is obviously saying she wasn't there and KW might have done it, how does the judge know whether the jury thinks KW might have killed Sadie? How does he say to SW when he sentences her, you stabbed Sadie and you are obviously more dangerous etc?

I am pretty sure that the jury can add a rider to their verdicts.

Interesting, that is what I wondered.

It now doesn't look like the jury will be sent out to consider verdicts today as previously hoped. That should happen tomorrow.

Jury sent home for the day. Judge will conclude summing up in the morning.

So, one more day. Perhaps no verdict tomorrow then if they go out late ?

It wouldn't take me 5 minutes on a jury. Same for most of these cases I follow. The only one where I thought they wouldn't be back quickly was the case of Nicola Payne who went missing, in the late 80's I think and they put two men on trial last year for her murder, without a body. They were acquitted anyway, but this one is as clear as day.

I agree re what I would be doing if I were on the Jury. Guilty and Guilty, no discussion needed.

But I always worry that someone on the Jury will be swayed and will think that Walsh only deserves manslaughter. I am usually wrong ! and my OH tells me every time that I should have more faith.

She could still get life for manslaughter, so it wouldn't worry me too much.

I still think SW will get a longer sentence than KW. Its going to be very interesting to hear both their reactions to the charges. I would also like to see what both of them look like now, after the trial - are the press allowed to take photographs of them once they've been convicted?

when Tenniswood was sentenced we then got pics of him, as opposed to court sketches, so hopefully we will have the same for these two.. Mind you, saying that, there have not been any court sketches this time.

By the way, not to take the severity of the Tenniswood/Chipchase case away, but these have got to be the strangest surnames I've ever heard of!

Kit looks a mess, skinny and haggered, totally aged and broken her. Sarah on the other hand...brazen and fresh faced
