But likewise, if violence against Batool was usual, I can hardly see Sharif saying that 'he was done with her' meaning that there would be no further violence against her. To 'be done with someone' is quite a common phrase when meaning you've had enough or want nothing further to do with them.

True - it's not clear whether he means that one way or the other. But the phrase about Sara is clearly threatening, in my opinion. Then there's the problem of how much you can take anything they say as true.

Sara’s father maintained that nothing ever happened when he was at home with the children,
and whenever Sara was injured,
Batool always blamed Sara for how these were obtained,
such as fighting with her brother.

Sharif claimed that Batool never allowed him to speak to Sara to find out what was going on,
telling the court:

“Beinash did not let me speak with Sara to get to the bottom of what is happening.
The only person who knew what was happening was Beinash.”

He also told the court that he wanted to leave Batool
and travelled to Pakistan in November 2022
after buying a one-way ticket with no intention of coming back.

He ended up returning on December 3
after finding out his son was sick.

The jury was told
that Faisal Malik, Sharif’s brother,
flew into the UK on December 17, 2022
ahead of starting his university course in Portsmouth.

There was also some discussion of phone call records between the defendants,
with a particular focus on the day that the parcel tape was ordered from Amazon.

The IP address traced the order to Batool at Hammond Road.

Cell site data showed her in that vicinity
and Sharif in Guildford
at the time of the order.

The jury was also told that after flying out to Pakistan following Sara’s death in August 2023,
both Batool and Sharif spoke to Batool’s sister Qandeela and her brother Mohib.

Sharif told them both that,
if anyone asked,
he was responsible for Sara’s death.

He claimed he did this to protect Batool and the other children.

Does it mean one smack? In the US they seem to use spank even if it's only one smack, whereas in England it would be several. One smack isn't actually illegal in England. Just wondering why Sara would have been removed from Olga.

IMO, the alleged abuse was probably held to be true from subsequent investigation by SS and probably CAFCAS too. This does not mean that the allegations were true, just that SS and CAFCAS thought that they were. Both SS and CAFCAS would have made a recommendation to the court. It appears that they thought that the children were at risk from Olga, due to the removal and also the requirement for supervised access. I am curious about Sara being in a foster placement in 2014, she would have been very young at this stage.

that is not what I meant. It is unusual for past family proceedings to be aired in court (remember Baby Victoria's case? there were vast amounts of evidence subject to reporting restrictions), especially if there is a living child who was subject to those proceedings.

I'm actually starting to feel sorry for bienash living with that manipulative, vindictive, lying individual. Obviously I know she is just as guilty but my God his self preservation and fake victimhood knows no bounds like seriously does he expect people to believe he is the victim in all this . I don't think Sara cut up clothes, shoelaces or ripped up documents. I think Batool claimed that she did.

In My Opinion (as a teacher)

If a child is neglected by a parent,
not noticed when the behaviour is good,
then
this child will do anything to catch parent's attention.

Even silly/naughty things.

It is the child's belief
that naughty behaviour is an effective way to get parent's attention
and get the parent exclusively.

To NOTICE the child at last.

It is very sad.

In my opinion, the UK has been very gracious to this troubled thief. Multiple brushes with the law showing poor character. Gives honest, polite and hardworking taxi drivers a bad name.
