More from G. Dragon

Accusactions of Sara by B:

He said he had slapped Sara multiple times
“because I was made to”.
He also suggested that his wife Batool told him
that Sara hit the other children.
He said Batool always accused Sara of
acting out and hurting the other children

and pointed at her:
‘Accused by that psycho sitting there’.

He said he found Sara stood in the TV room with her arms bound behind her back with packing tape. He said Batool was also present and appeared shocked that he was there.

Sara was terrified, he said, and he had cut the packaging tape off her with a knife. He said he had
screamed at Batool, and that
she said Sara had been naughty,
so she had tied her hands so she couldn’t hurt the children.

Interesting that Sara was always seen by neighbours with Baby brother in her arms.
There were no reports of Sara hurting a little boy.

I'm sick of U.'s constant "I was made to"

Why didn't he take his children and go if he thought B. was that psycho?? Rhetorical question.

Both B and U are telling the truth when they say the other one tortured Sara. Both are lying when they say that it was only the other and they did not.

Have either of them mentioned the uncle other than U when he spoke of the bites and how they were not done by h
Anyone else feel like Batool's sister should be on trial too for "laughing out loud" at the thought of Sara's abuse? Unless LOL meant "lots of love". Or that she didn't believe Sara was really being hurt. Perhaps bullies come in numbers.

I think it was some kind of misunderstanding.
In other messages she pitied both Sara and B.

I sent a link with messages upthread.

By the way...
AFAIR
In Lucy L. case, she also got a SMS with LOL meaning "Lots of Love" from her superior.

But, who really knows?

Thursday, November 7

There was discussion about his movements from 19-23 July 2023
(23 July is the date of the last confirmed sighting of Sara by a neighbour)
as traced by mobile phone data.

Sharif told the court that as a taxi driver, he worked seven days a week, 14-15 hours a day.
Typically, he said he would leave between 6 and 7am for airport drop offs and pick-ups,
mostly for established customers.

Sharif also spoke about the ordering and delivery of the packing tape,
telling the court he never used his Amazon account,
that he wouldn’t have been at home at the time the tape was delivered,
and he wouldn’t have opened the parcel because he didn’t order it.

Mr Mian also reviewed the forensic summary covering the carrier bag with blood in it and the tape with Sara’s DNA profile,
with fingerprint details matching to Sharif found on the non- sticky side of tape and on the bag.

He said it was a shopping bag he had moved from the recycling
bin to the rubbish bin and that he was
“shocked that my fingerprints are found on that tape”.

On Tuesday, 8 August, 2023 Sharif told the court
he and Batool had taken their younger son to Maybury Surgery for his immunisations.
Sharif said he then had a pickup in New Haw at 9:30am.

At 9:59am he took a £70 fare from his customer at Heathrow T3.
He went home, was there for the afternoon to sleep,
and describes seeing Sara in the kitchen washing something at the sink.

He went up to bed and woke up at around 5:30pm.

He said of Sara,
‘that was the last time I kissed her’.

He accepted a fare via WhatsApp from a customer who wanted collecting from Woking station.
At 6.24pm his taxi left Horsell.
At 7.04pm Batool tried to call Urfan, but he couldn’t answer due to
dropping a customer off in Peaslake.

He said she made several calls due to a bad signal,
and that
Batool, told him
Sara and her older brother were being really bad and asked him to come home.
He asked her to put them on the phone so he could try
and speak to them,
but he said she told him to just come home.

There was nothing unusual about their conversation and he stopped at the Co-Op on the
way home.

He said he couldn’t remember why he went there, maybe for cigarettes or vapes and
said he probably paid in cash.

The trial continues.

Tomorrow Urfan Sharif’s testimony is expected to finish.

It is not confirmed whether cross-examination,
if any,
will then take place.

I guess
Cross-e. will be veeeeeery long.
There is a queue IMO:
Defence KC of B,
Prosecution.

- Sara had a brain injury that was “no less than 48 hours old”. Cited by 3 pathologists. She had a gaping wound on her forehead.

U “kissed her”after 5:30 pm on the evening she died - after seeing her at the kitchen sink earlier in the afternoon.

But didn’t notice she was dying.

Exactly!!!

I'm waiting for cross-examination by Prosecution.

The way he recalls casually stopping off to buy himself cigs on his way home after Batool has called him to come urgently. Doesn't fit in with the family man vibe he's been trying to sell us does it.

Definitely something unnerving about the sisters messaging imo. Not least because no one responded and helped Sara. I do think there is something dark and sinister perhaps (moo) but am I being unconsciously influenced by hints from U testimony. Am I unconsciously picking up on hints of collusion?
S ‘wanting to wear hijab - like BB sisters’. The family visits where S and U had to sit in the car…..

Exactly what I have been saying. It’s not always the Man that inflicts all of the abuse and pain. He clearly inflicted a lot but doesn’t mean he was the main dominator just because he was her biological Dad! Women are abusers as well and some women wear the trousers. Just because they are Muslim doesn’t mean that the man is the Boss. I know Muslim families and the women rule the roost!
Men are just as likely to be on the receiving end of DV as women although it can remain more hidden as it can be considered taboo in a world where men are supposed to be masculine and strong . I have spoken about this in previous posts and I advocate for men to be given a bigger platform to discuss this . In all societies gender bias can exist.
But in my opinion in urfans case this is a manipulative ruse by him and the only reason he is using the DV defence is to garner pity .he has used this excuse before and it worked .

I do not know olga or any of those involved I only have the information available written in articles in msm . But I do know in very very few circumstances particularly where a death of a child occurs does an innocent man go on the run and to me urfan has appeared to blame everyone but himself . He takes no personal responsibility

Sara was his child it was his responsibility to ensure her safety and well-being instead he ignored several instances of safeguarding issues so even if there is the small chance he didn't partake in the torture or abuse against sara .he was a willing accomplice by turning a blind eye and absconding upon her demise

. That child suffered injuries that a grown adult would have extreme difficulties hiding and managing without strong pain relief and medical attention.

Regardless whether he or Beinash was the one that wore the trousers or were in the dominant role each allowed it to carry on each chose to take the risk it would end in death . Both had the opportunity to tell somebody both proclaim DV was used against them by the other but yet both had plenty of opportunity to confide in another
urfan had a family member living with him do you not think 2 males could confront and protect a child if bienash was controlling the whole situation? I know in DV cases people remain quiet but I highly doubt urfan was the victim .

I want justice for Sara as im sure we all do and I would not like to see a miscarriage of that justice and see an innocent person go down for life but the day each Defendant( particularly bienash and urfan ) chose to plead not guilty to any charge I could see how selfish they are . Each only interested in pointing the finger outward and saving there own skin .
<modsnip> . Imo

Well...

U's Defence KC
did what he could,
preparing his client for giving testimony.

But, as we all know

"Even Solomon couldn't pour from an empty cup".

Pathologists' (3)
and Medical Experts' reports are so staggering and damning
that not much can really be done to defend.
(Except pointing a finger at others)

U. had the courage at least
(and at last)
to stand in front of Jury and Judge and fight.
Or was it desperation?

He also provided ammunition for Prosecution to sink his wife.

I wonder if B will take the stand.
I guess..... YES.

If U had plead guilty to causing or allowing the death of a child, had remained with Sara's body and not run to Pakistan to hide and lie and further traumatise his surviving children, had co operated fully with with police from the start... I could maybe, maybe, believe his accounts of who delivered the greater physical abuse and more sadistic torture. If. Maybe. (And even then I would hate and despise him for his evil in facilitating the abuse and consider him as guilty as the one who actually delivered it.)

But he did none of those things. If he meant this emotional 'my Sara' act he has been putting on today he would be *begging* to be punished for letting it happen, not whining in court about how he has been mistreated by the woman he claims tortured his daughter to death, the woman he bought thousands of pounds worth of jewellery for on her birthday, the woman he ran to Pakistan with to hide from justice.

IMO
Even in his wildest dreams
he never suspected to be forced to return to the UK.
They all seemed so relaxed and glad to leave England.
To flee.

That is why he left the confession note.
He never thought of returning.

Now,
in danger himself,
he showed his true colours.
Denial and blaming others.
A 180 degree turn.

Yes, in a way Beinash was outnumbered by the brothers, who look to have very archaic views on female rights. Which might contribute to how unhinged she was with the children when the men were out. JMO.

This is the thing - all these self-justifications are nonsense beside the appalling forensic and medical evidence, some of which clearly shows old injuries that could not possibly have gone unnoticed by the other adults even if only one of them had inflicted them. But as you say, at least husband and wife will sink each other, not sure how the uncle stands.

I noticed a slight difference in reporting
re Sara's wearing hijab at home

G Dragon

"Asked about Sara wearing a hijab,
Sharif said that he was told it was Sara’s idea,
and that she wanted to do it to look like Batool’s family, specifically her aunts Qandeela S. and Amima S."

Guardian

"Sharif told jurors
he was told it was Sara’s decision to start wearing a hijab at around nine years old and that
Batool told him to let her
'get into the habit' of wearing the head covering at home as well."

This may have happened, but not been reported (reporting restrictions).

  • #860
I think the friend who Sara's brother texted when she died might have had some useful information for police. It has the flavour of an update on a situation already discussed between them, rather than news.
