How can anybody judge where Suzy was going by turning right on foot?

She has to go and collect the car that’s all her turning right does.

I didn't say she was turning right on foot. I said she was heading right after collecting her car - Putney direction

If she did turn right on foot after leaving the office (and someone in the office may have seen which way she went), she couldn't have been going straight to the car.

Was there a witness to that?

If Cannan is responsible for the murder of S Lamplugh the only way he would face a court is to reveal the whereabouts of her remains imo . Wasn't it reported he had had a stroke and was having palliative care so the chances of that are all but zero.

How could someone who has never been tried for the murder be brought to court in an attempt to reveal her whereabouts? Do you mean some form of public Inquiry? As you say, he is nearly dead so that won't happen.

The video about JC clearly states he was never arrested or brought in for questioning over the House For Sale murders and although they meet his MO there is no forensic evidence or witness evidence that he perpetrated them. Which is quite surprising for such a brutal, unstable, careless, over confident and cocky persona with prior sloppy and impromptu actions as opposed to planning.

IMO making the HFS murders the clear link to SJL's abduction is tenuous as again there is also no forensic evidence or eyewitness evidence he was ever involved with her.

Would such a well brought up, well educated, refined, west london woman have even given him the time of day? JC describes having a fling with his ex solicitor with his ex solicitor so he says and she would likely be an equally sophisticated person, so maybe. I imagine he comes off as phony and creepy even when doing his best middle class well brought up bloke shtick.

One thing comes jumping out of the video however, is JC clearly frequented the PoW pub. Is it possible he was renting a room there or unofficially helping on the bar or anything suchlike?

Is this the C5 video?

Is this the C5 video?

Apologies for not linking the video - it's embedded a few posts back in EddietheEagle's post of 5:30 named 'The man who killed Suzy Lamplugh?' Closing credits show it was made by Carlton TV, broadcast on C5

But the point is, the 2 places we have been told Suzy Lamplugh's car had been parked are Whittingstall Road and Radipole Road. Turning right on foot out of the Sturgis office would take you in the opposite direction to these 2 roads.

I mean he'll only be brought to court is if he confesses by revealing the whereabouts of her remains, clearly the CPS don't consider what is on offer in the form of evidence can lead to a successful prosecution.

I understand. Yep we would only hope for 'deathbed confessions' to his previous crimes, whether or not they include the HFS rapes and anything to do with SJL. Is there any precedent for such things to happen?

Is JC religious? I assume that if a person turns to a religious person such as rabbi or priest or imam in a confessional state prior to dying, that their words remain sacred and cannot be expected to be revealed?

So where could she have been heading?

So where could she have been heading?
My guess would be a shop to buy a sandwich (it was lunchtime). But given the publicity I would have thought that would have been remembered and reported as a last sighting. Still possible though.

Figurative and literal have different outcomes here.

By having SL turn 'right', I presume DV intended to convey the sense of SL going in the complete opposite direction to Shorrolds Road. That is basically what he is getting at, in that his whole thesis rests on SL never going to Shorrolds Road. However, going 'right' in his sense, takes you to Bishops Park too or Wendy Jones's house further up at 123 Stevenage Road.

You still have to refute the mass of sightings/witness evidence putting SL in Shorrolds Road.

So where could she have been heading?
Taking the keys to Shorrolds Road would be a good pointer. Whether heading directly or via Stevenage Rd remains open to debate.

I agree, DV may have suggested Stevenage Rd and Bishops Park as possible destinations

Devere, Doyle, Inchusta and Riglin saw SLP outside 37 Shorrolds Road. Doyle saw the champagne bottle with ribbons. Three of them saw Mr Kipper. Kipper is described with common characteristics i.e smartly dressed. Devere saw SLP alone, waiting for Mr Kipper with the keys. All the preceding is in the AS book.

This is evidence which corroborates, not conflicts i.e makes it as near to certain as you're likely to get.

JC may have enticed SLP down there, outside 123 Stevenage Rd where the sign was, possibly for an ostensible quick look before ushering her down to Bishops Park for a smoochy get together. By all accounts, he was practiced at that sort of thing. He managed to get Shirley Banks into his flat without anyone noticing.
