Cannan was just like Barwell regarding car abduction, and was in Fulham in summer 1996.
He was not only there in summer 1986. Police have confidently stated JC was in Fulham on the day SL went missing. (Jim Dickie to camera).

I agree but also think there was value in what DV found to some extent or shone light on. The police did seem to agree with his conclusions if not his main theory on CV.
I completely disagree. There is no credible evidence that police have agreed with DV's conclusions or indeed any of his unevidenced assertions leading up to his ridiculous pub death nonsense.

You could say it's not difficult to dispute Suzy and Kipper being outside, as none of the potential witness statements have ever been confirmed.
The probable presence of JC with SL in Shorrolds road was amply corroborated both by a neighbour and by passing witnesses who placed SL either with JC on her own or waiting outside for him, at the time in question. All these witnesses would have provided formal statements to police.

Confirmation of facts in a case like this would only ever made in a court when witness evidence is tested under cross examination and put to a jury.

DV's preposterous theory undermines the principle of an investigation being of necessity, evidence led. It conveniently ignores all the evidence which indicates JC as the main culprit.

How can you call it preposterous, slightly harsh i would say dv chose his play of events and they must have agreed on some level to check the pub, but i think he shoukd have been checking the rear of pow, embankment and overgrown viaduct as the most likely points of deposition.(if you side with dv theory)

P.307 Finding Suzy

“We assumed she did have the keys as her manager went around to 37 Shorrolds Road and knocked on the door to see if she was there” (Ryan)

“So how did police get inside to forensicate 37 Shorrolds Rd the next day with the key if Suzy had disappeared taking the key with her?”

[MG has said previously one set only to DV].

“We don’t know… [so] you’ve got that bit too” (Ryan)

“With the police accepting we were right about the witnesses & right about the key”…

He also confidently states to camera a phony policeman called Sturgis estate agents.

There’s ‘evidence’ JC was ‘seen’ in Fulham on the day & seen looking through the Sturgis window the day before she went missing. Apparently…

HR at time “I couldn’t see the man’s eyes and mouth so the artist put them in”

DV Ryan on SL “It looked like an Estate Agent showing that location at the time. She was never named”.

So..on DV, he was right in that assumptions were made at time…Ryan tacitly agreed.

Unless MG put the keys back on the board himself, after he returned from 37SR just after 3.30pm.

But not before dropping the Fiesta off outside 123 Stevenage Road of course.

I mean, it's pretty thin, but can you imagine.
on crimewatch MG is seen looking through the window of 37SR, which means he could not get in the house because lamplugh took the keys.

no they were not. how could JC scope out SL on a sunday. sturgis office is not open on a sunday.

Also a case perhaps for her leaving the office and being abducted at her car?
her car was across the road from the office. at that time around 12.30PM someone would have seen something.

Off topic but as SB knew of JC from Avon Gorge wine bar & in his sitting room prob not under duress at some point (looking at docs there - thumb print) odds are fair she gave JC a lift willingly & came in for drink initially (?) Might explain why no one noted a commotion outside Foye house flats.
