What's the route of the 130 bus - would it be a likely way for Tia to return from her shopping trip to Gran's house, or to her own home? The significance wasn't clear. (like much else!)

there are 3 ways to get back to the same place from Croydon Town Centre

Number 130 Bus

Number 64 Bus (which takes a very different route)

Tram

not sure which bus goes to NS's house but the Tram would have taken her pretty near it.

ETA: I lived in Croydon for about 15 years so i know the area reasonably well

Or they drove straight to Natalie's house, got there about 7.30ish and had a good couple of hours to get their stories straight before reporting Tia missing. That's assuming Hazell told Gran what happened and she took charge of it from them on. I cannot comprehend how the whole family lived in the house with Tia lying dead in the loft without Hazell cracking up from the sheer stress of keeping this terrible secret all to himself. That's why I'm convinced he wasn't alone in it. The whole family is 'sticking together' said David Sharp. Sticking together has other connotations apart from offering support.

I'm sure NS phoned SC around 1.15am on the Saturday morning. Not sure what time he drove up but at the 'scented' candlelight procession on Sunday night, there is roughly 8 of them come out of that house at the same time - so that's a lot of people who didn't smell anything at that point either.

David Sharp's the one who referred to Tia as 'that girl', as in 'that girl left the house alone' which sounded very detached. Why not 'my niece'? He's also the one who was sitting next to Hazell during the interview just the day before Tia was found dead. I wonder if Hazell and Sharp have always looked out for each other, and what their relationship was based on.

also makes you wonder who's idea it was to use candles, scented or not and how many were lit in the house.

Also had they been burning scented candles for the whole week ?

I keep getting confused with which David is which and which of them said what!

The 130 bus route.

Norwood Junction, Grosvenor Road
Woodside Green, Stroud Road
Addiscombe, Tram Stop
Shirley Park, Shirley Road
Addington, Gravel Hill
Addington Village, Interchange
Fieldway, Lodge Lane
Goldcrest Way, King Henry's Drive
Homestead Way, Milne Park East
New Addington, Parkway

Where are the funfair stop and the Lindens stop on this route India?

Didn't think of that. It would help disguise the smell if they had enough candles burning. I wonder if there were any lit on Thursday night during the interview?

Strange how these ones are still there but all the others have been removed

maybe its because they were filmed rather than downloaded from somewhere.

i've only watched the full 10 minute vid once and that was all i needed to watch to be honest.

That looks like it would be more than a 15 minute bus journey, especially if it has to make a few stops.

plus on a friday evening that bus would have been packed.

i've been on a 130 bus before on a friday, i've gotten on in Croydon and a lot of the time it will miss a lot of stops as the people on it are mostly going back to Addington.

i have known it to take 10 minutes in the past but then sometimes it would take well over 30 minutes.

Thanks for the interview links kaos. When he talks about visiting the funfair, he doesn't say it's because he knows Tia loves funfairs and that's why they're doing it. It seems a totally random thing to come up with. If my daughter went missing, I wouldn't go and look for her at a funfair unless I knew she'd been planning to sneak off to one.

And three times he says that someone else saw Tia leave the house. "People are pointing the finger at me because they think I was the last person to see her, but I wasn't". Definitely some colluding going on, but between how many people, I just can't tell at the moment.

One other thing about what he said in that video is that they left the funfair to go to NS's house but then saw a 130 bus, this is highly unlikely as they wouldnt have taken the route where the bus would have been.

they would have stayed on the road where the funfair is as it leads all the way into west Croydon and on towards Mitcham.

even if they has stayed on that road and driven all the way to Mitcham , at no point would they have seen a 130 bus.

Remember please that CS has lived in Croydon for years and would have known which way was quickest.

I find this version of events as confusing as you.I wonder if the dinner in the oven was in fact the uneaten dinner from Thursday.

There did not seem to be any visits to neighbours to see if she was there or to ask a neighbour to wait in the house and phone them if Tia arrived when they went to the fair and then to Natalies.

If I remember correctly C.S was tweeting various celebrities about her missing grandchild on the Friday evening

You have reminded me of thIs action...

It sounds like such a ridiculous effort now with all the newer information revealed.

Hi! :) True, and he could remember all that, but not what Tia supposedly said to him- he said she was 'just mumbling about something' or words to that effect?! I mean, when I clean my house I couldn't tell you that much detail of how I went upstairs, did this, downstairs, did that etc.- not to that detailed extent anyway. Guess he thought the details would indicate he wasn't lying, but it only gave him away IMO.

and maybe he remembered the cleaning in such detail because it was something he rarely did... So he was more apt to remember the novel activity?

It's strange too that he's done this interview on the Thursday night, with DS sitting there - no idea who else is in the room with him at that point but the interviewer says (I think from his Twitter) that SH and him are in the kitchen alone at one point and he seems quite open. DS must surely have known if his mum and SH scouted the funfair. The police will have went over everything step by step and probably with them all in the same room together as they're looking for a missing child at this point so no need to interview them seperately.

Being he's a heavy drinker, he could of had a black out, come out of the blackout or woken up to a dead child, and not know what happened. Or because he gets blackouts, someone else could of done the deed and told him he did kill her. DNA is important in this case. But i know people that become violent when drinking, but are good people when not under the influence. I think he does not know what happened. i believe he really really cared for Tia. Dos'nt make any less dead thou.
JMO MOO

I am wondering if an alcoholic blackout has a place in this set of circumstances, too!

I thought that too but more because of the washing powder CS ended up going out for. If SH wasn't used to doing the housework then it's possible he wouldn't know how much washing powder to even use.
