Yep, I've known someone very well with a daughter who went through similar to Viktorija, locking the house up at night, running away, horrible friends, playing truant etc. But I never heard of getting rid of/burning clothes before, or that being a message of 'don't leave'.
Well obviously he would take trousers and weapon if planned it's just that it seemed a crime carried out in anger from her rebuttal rather than planned. Why would he take a change of trousers? Same reason he'd take a hammer/weapon. It was planned.
If he'd taken off the jacket and left it say, on a bench or hanging in the pavilion away from the blood loss - then changed his trousers and top - washed off blood in the lake (hence the phone being in middle of lake and boots next to it) then put the coat on and left ... no blood on coat.
No blood IN his house cause he didn't go in his house - he and brother went elsewhere for an hour - bag (containing blood stained top, trousers, trainers and weapon) was disposed of and defendent thoroughly cleaned.
With shows like Dexter and Making a Murderer, it's not hard to pick up tips on getting away with murder these days.
Good points and BBM I agree, planning doesn't match the motive they've given of anger.Well obviously he would take trousers and weapon if planned it's just that it seemed a crime carried out in anger from her rebuttal rather than planned.
It's also still very unusual for their to be no forensics especially as he was picked up quickly..not that clever if dumps her Jean's in a near by bin and leaves a social media trail
Welcome Whatevr! I agree with you, I'd like to hear the police address these points. There are still questions.Glad he's been found guilty, although he'll probably get some pathetic sentence. His brother isn't in trouble for presumably helping the accused of destroying evidence? And have the police identified the man that the accused brother was in the street with, imo it's not out of the question that someone found her in that state and raped her the 2nd time. Especially if they knew what the first guy did i.e. his mates/brother whoever the unidentified man is around at that time could have participated.
I hope for everyone's sake they convicted the right person. I just see an extraordinary amount of the police defending their case in the reports and it leaves me uncomfortable. I still haven't read one thing that would make me certain he murdered her.
Teenager, 16, is convicted of rape and murder of Viktorija Sokolova | Daily Mail Online
'Yet the CCTV suggested he was in the park with her for two hours.
'The reason he was also charged with rape is that we recovered DNA from in and on Viktorija's body that proved that her killer had had sex with her.
'If that had been consensual, there is no explanation for Viktorija's murder.
'If that had been consensual, then why did Viktorija not leave that park alive?
was there not other evidence the sex was not consensual?
'So he had thrown it, I believe, intending for it to go into the water but it actually landed on dry land.
'Why would her killer want to dispose of her mobile phone unless that was evidence linking the killer to her?
can this not also apply to rapist and not murderer and was his DNA/fingerprint found on her phone?
It seems like a case of we know he was there. We can't say who else was there even though there are two other unidentified contributors of semen on her.
