Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill announced a first-degree felony child torture charge filed against both Daniel James Fivas and his girlfriend, Jessica Marie Harmes.

" R.C.'s weight at admission on August 30, 2025, was that of a 16-month-old child" within 16 days of hospitalization and consistent meals being provided she gained 8.8 lbs. Poor little thing.
