That’s what’s concerning. His sister (the 17 year old) and him share the same father, so if he is with his dad then he’s most likely also with his sister… I can only imagine that’s a recipe for disaster.

Maybe he’s in a mental institution? Either way, where he needs to be is behind bars. I can’t believe an arrest hasn’t been made especially given the evidence.

I don't know if it's happening more often in the U.S. now than in past decades; that would be informative to find out.

But I believe there is currently a problem with some Internet influencers teaching teenage boys misogynistic and sexist ideas and teenagers in general that parents/adults are the enemy.

I also think children and teens have so much exposure to violence now, that they are more desensitized than ever. Even just easy streaming of R-rated movies all day long, nevermind Youtube videos, TikTok, gaming, music videos, Anime, etc. all depicting violence.

40 years ago...I did a Masters Thesis on "Juvenile Crime and Rehabilitation". And at that time, before the internet, I used microfiche machines, card catalogs, to research "Juvenile Crime" data.

1985 The data for murder was almost nil, rape, hardly any felonies.

Now, we see those crimes done by Juveniles, literally, on a daily basis. Numerous crimes. I just can't believe the changes.

Police conducted an extensive search of the home and the nearby Jordan River but did not recover any weapons.

KUTV has reached out to Saratoga Springs Police for information on the current status of the 15-year-old son, including whether he is in custody or facing charges.

An official said no arrests have been made and they are continuing to investigate.

I had 5 felonies at the age of 15 in 1990. I definitely wasn't a unicorn. But the charges today are much more violent. Mine were stupid felony theft and fraud charges...oops. They did take custody away from my parents for those back then tho. I had to move into a group home for the waywards. Story for another day.

no updates makes me think they have no DNA from the son at all, and that DNA of whoever did this is an unknown male. surely there would be an arrest by now, even if there is an overabundance of caution due to being a minor? that only affirms my belief once i read about the strange figures in the security cameras. what an odd case this is.... so sad.

I hope that you are correct. I would hate to think he is free all of this time. I would think that they could have tested the semen to determine if it was him and possibly he is being held on r@p3 charges for now?
