Does he have a point? And if he does, can he get to it soon?

Is Martin paying for his defense or are these court appointed lawyers?

Pro-bono, IIRC. Don't know if they were court appointed, though.

 Lucid, fully lucid. Splitting hairs FGS......:banghead:
I think it is fair to say she was out of it, and it took considerable time for her to become lucid.

Go Alexis! :great: A story? :waitasec:

Um, yeah - It's not a "story" :oddsmiley:

Prosecutor needs to OBJECT. This is more than leading...

  • #286
Sure you meant to imply it was a story... that's why you snarkily referred to it as "recitation of events".

Sorry, not so happy with this defense attorney.

Don't let him trip you up, Alexis, stay strong!

This guy is coming off as a jerk. He keeps asking the same question, in a slightly different way, over and over. I don't think he is going to be able to shake Alexis in her testimony, she comes across as completely honest and believable. I wonder is this is one of the things that Martin made note of for his lawyer during Alexis' direct examination.

Alexis is not backing down!

love how she just said, I've been to SO MANY court hearings ... and asked what was that one about LOL
The Defense seems a bit frustrated that he can't get her to crack ;) She's doing great!

He is trying his darnedest to try to trip her up on silly word games. He is enjoying it from the way it looks to me. She is not buying into it...good for her.

Can't someone from the State object by saying something like 'already asked, already answered your honor'

Um yeah buddy, 12:50pm is after NOON...

That look he gave her would make me want to slap his face. When he asked her about the meds she gave Michele and Alexis said it was early afternoon, he read two meds and the time was early afternoon. She stood her ground and he gave her this look.

I came into this case blind, so haven't seen the 20/20 interview...

For those that didn't know, the prosecutor mentioned last week, that Alexis just gave birth to twins the prior week. She looks awesome for just having twins!

She also did an awesome job on the stand! She is one strong woman! Lots on her plate!

:thumb:

I would have been hard pressed to do that after giving birth to my twins---- half the time I was lucky to shower!!! Shz does look good

ITA. If my husband said I need a facelift, I would ask him who he was having an affair with. Alexis testified that her mom wanted to lose weight before the surgery. Why didn't MM ask Michelle if she wanted liposuction too? Snark totally intended.

Michele was an attractive, 50-year-old woman. She didn't look 30 anymore, because she wasn't 30. Martin didn't look like he did when he was 30, either. You would hope that she would have a new, different attractiveness - based on the fact that she's delivered and raised four of your biological children.

I always wonder if there are lots of great facelifts out there, but we just don't notice them. I do see lots of horrible ones. I would be wary about getting one, because they look so ridiculous when they turn out bad.

Video of 20/20 coming in. About time that the prosecution is objecting...and it is coming in to try to impeach her. This is BS

They can yes, but apparently are not going to. This is one of my concerns with the lawyers for the State. They appear to not really be doing their job completely and with the gusto that they should be, IMO.

MOO
