I drove by the home when the police were excavating. It bothers me greatly that there hasn't been an arrest. I am terribly worried that he "got away with it" because of time. As far as I know, they still haven't released to the public the COD.

Well, they have her buried now. Please tell me that they are going to convict him now.

Boyfriend of long-missing woman booked on murder charge

SPANISH FORK, Utah - The boyfriend of a woman who went missing 28 years ago has been booked in Utah on a murder charge, reports CBS affiliate KUTV.

Michael Ignatius Kufrin was arrested in Illinois in July and charged for the murder of Peggy Sue Case, who went missing in July 1988.

Kufrin had originally been scheduled to appear in court Nov. 6, but refused to be transported to court.

Powell informed Kufrin of his charges, and told him about his right to either hire a lawyer or be appointed a public defender to represent him.

Kufrin told the judge he wished to hire his own lawyer, and Powell gave him four weeks in which to do so. Kufrin’s next court date is scheduled for Dec. 11 at 1 p.m.
