It's all LE's fault that Codi is missing, they didn't look hard or long enough and didn't allow enough volunteers from the public (only 50)
They've created a false narrative, overcharged Corey and instilled/created hysteria in the community. (the word hysteria is used several times)
Her opinion: When Corey went to LE to report Codi missing. He did not confess, when they couldn't get him to confess they denied him counsel, wouldn't let him leave. Claims this is a common behavior by that department and not an aberration. calls LE and the DA's office complicit in this corruption.
Now family is going to speak. Ms. Butler (Corey's sister) is speaking about how she found out. I am trying hard not to tune out. She is telling about all she has done to find her nephew and that LE suggesting that Corey and his family are not concerned enough about Codi is mean and unfair. She feels they are using Corey as a scapegoat to deflect from their abysmal job of searching for her nephew.
Uncle talking now. Lots of attention so far in this presser as to why no amber alert was issued. [how would they issue one? no suspect, no vehicle? I find this very confusing]
They kidnapped Corey because they wouldn't let him go. Then we got a lawyer and suddenly they want to charge him with child neglect.
They (LE) removed all the pipes and plumbing which tells me they think Corey killed him. They decided Corey killed him immediately so that is why they didn't issue an amber alert.
OK, I'm done here. No wonder we are giving this interview to the unleashed folks. A real presser would involve them having to field questions from journalists. This is simply an opportunity to put their own spin out without being challenged by all those pesky questions such as "where is Codi Bigsby?"
